Genos did not like Umiko's creature she calls a 'cat'.

"Umiko, what is this?" Demanded the cyborg, pointing at the cat that was sleeping on his side on her 'nest'.

'Junior' shot Genos a glare just as bad as his own. It yawned and snuggled itself in her blankets.

"Why do you have a rodent in our bed?" Genos asked again, turning to Umiko as she walked in with another blanket for Genos. Not like she doesn't have enough for him and her both.

"That's not a rodent! His name is Junior! I named him after you!" Blushed Umiko, pulling it over his shoulders.

"That thing looks nothing like me." He hissed at the cat, staring at it with nothing but disscontempt for the creature.

"Genos, give him a chance! He's just as sweet to me as you are." Umiko replied, going on her tip-toes to give him a chaste kiss on his cheek, hugging him when her feet lay flat on the ground.

"I will not. That 'cat' is a disgrace to me." He griped, resting his chit atop her curly mop of hair.

"It's alright, it's just a cat!" She replied. "There is no reason to be so worried about a cat." Umiko added, smiling up at the cyborg.

Seeing Umiko's cute smile, He calmed down. Why was he getting so worked up over a cat? It was a damn cat. There wasn't anything to worry about! He shamed himself for even thinking that a cat was going to take her away from him.

"Of course. It's a feline. I have nothing to fear." Genos replied, sighing.

"But I still think that cat is a disgrace to myself." He quickly added, solidifying his opinion on that idiotic, mangey, dirty feline.

He got a stifled laugh out of her. "Nuh uh, I will not let you disrespect my son like that!" Umiko pushed away from Genos with a lighthearted smile.

"Umiko, that is not your son!" Genos called back as Umiko went to go figure out something for the two of them to make for dinner and dessert. Why dessert too? Well, it was recently discovered yesterday that Uniko can somehow set boiling water alight, but can bake the most complicated dessert without struggle.

So, whenever Genos would come over when Saitama would send him away so he could formulate a training program (which had been very often recently. Sensei must be making him one hell of a training regimen), they would collaborate together to have dinner and dessert. Genos would often attempt to bring Saitama to dinner with them, but he would just as often get rejected.

A small meow rang out from behind him, and Genos turned his head to the cat.

"Umiko is not yours. I was here first, you dirty cat." He hissed to the cat, staring it down.

The cat gave Genos a look just as dirty.

Nevermind anything about peace between him and that cat. Genos knew this cat was going to steal his Umiko away from him. But there wasn't anything he could do without that short fiend of a teenage girl would unscrew every bolt in his body if he kicked the cat out.

"You got lucky with her. Do you understand?" Genos crossed his arms. The cat rolling its yellow eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes at me, flea-bag." Griped Genos.

'I hate that cat.' He hissed.

Was Genos going to hate on a cat? Yes, yes he was. Did he give a damn about it? Hell no.

Genos calmly walked out of Umiko's room. "Are you sure that cat isn't rabid?" He interrogated, leaning back onto the counter where Umiko was busy getting some cups down from the cabnit (she had gotten from a street vendor a few days back. Genos has been trying to get her to... actually furnish her apartment).
