"I'm sleepy." Haein murmured, her eyelids drooping as she fought sleep. She wasn't going to fall asleep like this, not without washing up first because she felt sticky all over.
"Let's take a bath and I'll make you dinner, how does that sound?" Hyunwoo nuzzled his nose against her hair.
"Carry me."
"Of course, my princess." He scooped up her pliant body like she weighed nothing, carrying her into the ensuite bathroom.
Like the perfect gentleman he was, he made her wait until he'd tested the water temperature before letting her stand under the water, and helped to scrub her all over because she was sore.
"I think I need to start going back to the gym, I'm losing my stamina." Haein grumbled as he massaged her scalp, ensuring that the shampoo was lathered properly.
"We'll go together." He promised. "Though I don't know why you're tired because I did most of the work."
He was rewarded with a sharp jab to the ribs, courtesy of Haein's elbow.
"You'll shut your mouth if you know what's good for you."
"Yes yeobo."
The water was the perfect temperature, and his expert hands eased all the knots in her muscles. There couldn't be anything better than this, taking a nice warm shower with a professional masseuse after being thoroughly fucked. The air was filled with the soothing scent of Hyunwoo's soap which might just be her favourite scent in the world even though she had an entire collection of designer perfumes. She just wanted to dive into the scent and stay there forever.
When they were sufficiently rinsed off and Hyunwoo kissed her a hundred times over to make her stop sulking, he wrapped her in a fluffy towel which seemed to drown out her entire being.
"Here, change into this." He handed her a pair of pyjamas which she accepted without question. But when they finished getting dressed, she realised that they were a matching set.
"Did you buy us matching pyjamas? When?"
Hyunwoo blushed. "When I was living here alone after I moved out. I was out shopping for some home deco. I guess I got a little ahead of myself."
"Did you really miss me that much?"
"Of course I did! When I walked by the bakery, I wondered what it would be like to pick pastries and surprise you with breakfast. When I walked by the movie theatre, I wondered what it would be like to share popcorn with you while neither of us concentrated on the show. And when I walked by the photobooth, I wondered what it would be like to have more pictures of us together that I could paste around our apartment."
Haein softened, her gaze brimming with affection as she cupped his cheek. "Let's do all those things. You don't have to wonder anymore."
"I love you."
"Love you too." She tilted her head up so that their noses were touching.
...
While Hyunwoo was cooking, Haein busied herself with her meticulous skincare routine which was her secret to maintaining smooth and perfect skin. As she stared at her reflection in the mirror, an idea struck her, and she strode out with purpose towards the kitchen.
"Look at me." She demanded, standing beside Hyunwoo at the stove.
"Hm?" He was confused, but obeyed, leaving the pot to simmer on the stove.
Standing on her tiptoes, Haein began rubbing cream onto his skin, careful to make sure every inch was covered with moisturizer.
"What are you doing?"
