Llyr POV*
Samia followed both kings back into the castle leaving us to ourselves.
"Llyr, you have a bit of drool on your chin... you might wanna wipe that off," joked Micah... I sent him a glare and smacked the back of his head. "Hey! At least now you have a chance to show everyone you're actually 'into' the opposite sex considering you've turned down every other woman at court for no apparent 'reason" he continued taunting.
"You should be thankful seeing as you end up bedding every woman I turn down. Just don't hold your breath on Samia. Once I have her, no one is going near her," I told him.
He laughed and said, "Not this time Llyr. I'm not going to be second best when it comes to the princess. She's going to be mine and you're just going to have to continue drooling from afar."
Aerys added, "It's too bad you're all wasting your time. Samia is MY future wife."
"What are you even doing here Aerys. Don't even stand there and pretend like you're here for Samia, we all know all you care about is the crown!", I growled at him.
"Of course I care about being king. Samia is just an added bonus. She's beautiful and would make a perfect match for me..."
I lunged at his throat, "How dare you! If the king knew you were only using his daughter to win the throne-" Micah and Sebastian roughly pulled me off of him...
"Everyone just calm down," said Cain. "You're all acting like a bunch of children. We're all here for the same thing, no matter what the reason behind it is. Lets just act civil for the sake of Samia."
Who did this un-seelie fae think he was, telling me what to do? I was fuming. I'm a member of the Seelie kings guard goddammit... How dare he speak down to me. Granted... he was right. but I wasn't about to admit that out loud.
I was usually more stable than this, I don't know what's come over me. All these men claiming Samia is theirs, it's making me burn with jealousy. She was always meant to be mine. I've been in love with Samia ever since she basically came of age.
I shrugged off Micah and Sebastian after assuring them I wouldn't go after Aerys again. He smirked at me and turned his back to head inside the castle.
"Look Llyr, don't let him get under your skin. We all hate him just as much as you do," said Micah.
I ignored him and walked away. So help me god if Samia ended up with Aerys i'll kill him before he utters I do...

Samia POV*
I had to get out of there. All those delicious knights are here for me? As much as I want my "soul-mate" this dilemma i'm in doesn't seem as bad as I thought. Although... I can't seem to get those hazel eyes out of my head. As much as I want to forget about that wolf I can't help but wonder what he was doing right this minute...
Father would be livid if I ever pursued a werewolf! He would have my head. Well.. Not really but still... He would definitely not be pleased. Oh well, what are the odds we cross paths again?...
I tried to call on Keira for some much needed advice but she was blocking everyone out... probably too busy with Luka. I began meandering around the castle when I accidentally walked in a wall and I found myself on my ass.
"Humph", I looked up into searing grey eyes.. "Oh... hey.. sorry about that... I wasn't paying attention to where I was going..," I quickly stammered.. Getting up and brushing myself off.
Llyr looked upset at first but then his face visibly softened when he realized it was me.
"Sam." He looked like he wanted to say something but he wasn't spitting it out? "Where are you headed to?" He asked instead.
"Um... No where really. Just taking a stroll"
"Can I join you?"
"Sure..."
We began walking towards the gardens. It was beautiful out here. Some of the fairies were flitting around greeting us as they passed.
I couldn't help but address the pink elephant in the room so I had to ask, "Llyr?..."
"Yes, Sam?"
"Why did you elect yourself... for you know... My hand?" I asked hesitantly.
He looked a little taken aback from my forward question and nervously ran a hand behind his neck.
"Well a... to be quite honest Sam, why not?"
I didn't really know what to say. I just thought we were friends, I didn't think he thought of me in that way. Frankly, the man was deadly gorgeous. All the women at court were always throwing themselves at him. Come to think of it, i've never seen him with another woman before?
"Well, I just thought we were friends, no?"
"We are friends Sam," he stopped walking and turned to me. He grabbed my hands in his and looked intently in my eyes. His grey eyes held that silver sparkle in them, even more so with the sun shining in them. "In case I haven't made it obvious... I care for you more than just a friend."
So there it is... Plain as day right? Then why did I dumbly respond with, "Wha... What do you mean?"
He chuckled, "I think you know exactly what I mean love." Did he just call me love? My heart fluttered at the endearment.
He leaned in close and whispered in my ear, "I will fight for your love, whatever it takes... I will fight to keep you," He lightly kissed my cheek. My skin seared where his lips touched. I hadn't realized I had closed my eyes until I opened them again to find him smiling down at me. He gave me a small bow and walked off...
Oh father... What have I gotten myself into...
