Samia POV*

I fingered my necklace that mother left for me as I idly walked through the palace halls...

I've always wondered why my mother was not here with me. I must have tried a million times to interrogate father about it but he's adamant about keeping his lips sealed.

I did however, over hear him speaking with uncle one time about a woman whom they were secretly searching for... When I had barged in the room, they had quickly dismissed my questions and never spoke of it again. I always dreamed it was my mom they were discussing. I had wished that one day father would be reunited with her again and they would live happily together.. that we would be a family once again.

I have of course outgrown those childish dreams and accepted the fact that maybe I was never even going to meet her. It was depressing really... knowing that there was such a strong possibility I would never meet the woman that bore me...

I must of been completely lost in my thoughts, pondering my mother so deeply, because I walked right into Luka. He held his arms up to straighten me.

"Oh Luka! Sorry," I apologized... Beside him was Keira of course, giving me a secret smile. One i'm sure that behind it was her utterly hopeless romantic notions that I will be swept off my feet by one of my nights in shining armor...

"It's okay Sami, what are you up to?", asked Luka.

"Oh nothing really... Actually I was thinking of going into town, clear my head for awhile..."

"Ah! Let me come with! I can help you 'clear your head" Keira all but shouted excitedly. She was giving me a Cheshire cat grin.

We both turned to Luka with hopeful looks.

He sighed, "Oh, alright. You girls have fun... and be safe." He looked at me with a pointed finger. "You take care of my girl now, I want her back in one piece."

I gave him a mock salute and swore, "Scouts honor!"

He smiled and pulled Keira in for a scorching goodbye kiss. She pulled away with swollen lips. They are too perfect for each other... Almost makes me want to gag. Almost...

Finding your soul-mate is truly special. It's like you literally can't be complete without the other. I see it everyday when I watch Keira and Luka together. The way they looked at each other... Gives me goosebumps at the thought of having someone looking at me that way... Where are you my fairy prince?

Keira grabbed my hand and dragged me to my room so we can get ready.

"Where do you want to go doll?" I asked her.

She was in my closet. Clothes were being tossed out as she searched for outfits. She yelled, "How about Night Embrace again! You know, where those cute shapeshifters hang out all the time!" I heard her giggling to herself.

I sighed, that Alpha Stephan sure was memorable. But I still don't understand my attraction to him yet.

I walked up to my window to look outside. Oh hell n... I shouldn't even be surprised. Out there laying on the grass was none other than Micah practically eating some random girl's face! It only took the little snot a couple days before his womanizing ways surfaced once again. Thank goddess I cut him loose the first chance I got.

"Sure we can go there," I replied absentmindedly still staring incredulously at Micah.

There was a knock on the door. "Come in!" I shouted.

The door opened and in walked Rebekah. She was quite beautiful with her pin straight chestnut brown hair and matching big doe eyes. She ran up to me and enveloped me in a big bear hug.
