Samia POV* Last night was amazing... I couldn't stop thinking about Cain, he truly made me feel like a princess... his princess.

At first I was a bit apprehensive about giving him a chance, but now I may be developing feelings for him. I sighed and hung my head low. How did my love life get so complicated in a matter of weeks.

I was in my room attempting to get ready for my day but I kept getting distracted by Cain, who seemed to be worming his way in my thoughts every five minutes.   I had this nagging feeling in the pit of my stomach about him... for some reason, every time I asked him about his family last night, he would quickly change the subject.

Was he hiding something? Maybe I can do some investigating? You know... not really snooping or anything... just maybe follow him around... but not like a stalker!

"What is the matter with me?" I groaned.

I need to do something to occupy my time, get out of the palace for a while.. Somewhere I wouldn't run into Stephan.

Oh... gosh... Stephan. Another bump in my road to finding love. I truly hoped he was joking about the whole mate thing.

I put on some jean cutoff shorts, a grey tank top and my black combat boots. I braided my hair to the side and let it fall on my shoulder. I'm so over all these fancy dresses and gowns i'm forced to parade around to entertain our 'visitors'.

I walked out of my room and headed to the infirmary to see if Llyr was still there. I wanted to check on him to make sure he was okay. As I reached the door it opened and out came Aerys. A surprised look came over his face but he recovered quickly and gifted me with his oh so familiar smirk.

"Sir Aerys", What a tragedy I won't be able to wed the man... Pfft.

He gave me a small bow, oblivious to my vehement dislike towards him. "Princess Samia"

"How are you feeling? You had a great fail-fall!... Last night." Gag me please!

His jaw clenched slightly as I mentioned his big FAIL... I internally snickered.

"Yes, well, we can all see how it was clearly three against one. I assume they were too intimidated by me to take a go solo." He held his chin up as he whined. The big baby thought it wasn't fair. Boo-hoo.

"I saw... Well I do wish we had more time together but I better go check on Llyr now," I turned away from him but not before I saw an evil glint in his eyes.

As I was walking away I heard him say under his breath... "We'll see how this all ends dear princess..." What a creepo. The asshat has something up his sleeve and telling from his ominous comment, I'm pretty sure I wont like it.

Inside the infirmary I found Llyr in bed asleep. As I moved closer to him I started to get this funny feeling in my stomach. A flutter of butterfly wings tickled me as I looked down at his lovely face. He was beginning to truly affect me immensely. Slowly but surely making his way in my heart.

I reached down and cupped his cheek. He smiled as my hand made contact with him. How endearing, even in a deep sleep it seems I affected him as well.

I turned to leave, but not before I noticed the healer that was stationed at this hour. She seemed to have been giving me the evil eye before I turned to her. She abruptly adjusted her scowl when she realized I was looking at her, i'm sure only out of respect for who I am. She gave me a fake smile and left without a word. The woman clearly did not favor me, but why?

I shrugged to myself and went on my way.

I was outside now, lying on the grass, letting the sun soak my face while I mulled over the odd woman from the infirmary, when Rebekah and Micah stumbled upon me. They were holding hands and laughing about something Micah had whispered in her ear.
