He pressed play, and the music started. I had to sing first, so I started. When it was Emmett's turn, he sounded so enormously funny I couldn't help laughing. Halfway into the song, I was laughing so hard that my score started to dip down. Realising that, I quickly concentrated, but Emmett did end up winning.
"Edward! Will you sing a song with me?" I begged him and turned on my puppy eyes.
"Fine..." he couldn't resist.
"I thought he was going to sing with Jasper?" Emmett sounded confused.
"We all can!" I giggled.
"Alright! What song?"
Um... OH! BARBIE GIRL!!" I suddenly saw a picture of Jasper singing Barbie Girl in my head.
"Okay..." Emmett scrolled through the songs until he found it.
He grabbed 2 more microphones and handed them to Edward and Jasper. As he pressed play, the music came on, and we sang. Oh, we did. I couldn't stop laughing when it was Jasper's turn, I didn't even care that Edward won.
"Now, guys," Esme appeared in the doorway as soon as the song ended, "Bella has to eat lunch."
As if on queue, my stomach growled. I flushed, embarrassed. "I guess I am hungry."
"I made your favourite. Chicken nuggets and fries!" Esme squealed.
"OH MY GOSH! THANK YOU!!" I cried, jumping up and down in joy.
"I'll take you to the dining room," Edward offered, but then took me in his arms before I could accept or decline.
The marble table was empty, as always, with only one placemat and plate on the 3rd chair on the right. I sat in that chair.
"Edward, will you sit with me?" I begged him.
He sighed. "Okay."
Esme approached the table, balancing a plate of nuggets and fries, a glass of water, and an empty dish. I looked at it, confused.
"It's for putting the bones into," she explained, seeing my clueless face. "Tuck in."
After finishing, I settled back into my chair, rubbing my stomach.
"Where's Daddy?" I asked, suddenly noticing that Carlisle was nowhere to be seen.
"Work," Esme and Edward replied in unison.
I giggled. It was funny, how they replied together.
