I cringed and scooted away slightly, feeling a bit uncomfortable. Jacob looked slightly hurt.

"Uhm... anyways, hi!" he hesitated for a second before settling for a perky smile.

"Er... uh...' I looked for help to my other side, but they shrugged. "Hi...?"

Oh, sorry if you don't want to be my friend... I'll just tell Mrs Cullen," Jacob sighed dejectedly.

"Oh... urm, it's okay," I answered awkwardly, but shifted away slightly anyway.

Luckily, he didn't notice.

"Okay, class!" Esme shouted softly (Is there such a way to do that? XD), clapping. "Let's do some work..."

I sighed, took out my notebook and a fancy pencil, and sat there waiting.

"Hey, do you have a pen or pencil I can borrow?" Jacob nudged me.

"Uh, sure," I muttered reluctantly, handing him my worst pencil.

"Hey, Bells?" Tiff asked from beside Em. "You got a pencil?"

I reached into my bag and brought out one of my favorite pencils. "Here."

"Thanks!" she grinned briefly before returning to her work.

What felt like a century later, the bell rang, and most students pushed each other out for recess. Except for me, Em, Tiff, and Jacob. That kid is starting to annoy me.

"What are we playing?" Jacob asked brightly.

Em looked for Esme, found that she wasn't in the room, grinned, and snapped, "Woah woah woah, what? We? As far as we're concerned, this group only wants 3 girls. And that's me, Bells and Tiff."

"Yeah," Tiff glared at him.

I didn't say anything, just turned away.

"Let's go, girls," Em linked her arm through mine, and I Tiff, and we walked off, leaving Jacob in a state of utter shock.

Once we successfully got outside, we burst out laughing uncontrollably.

"Did you see his FACE?" Tiff choked out.

"Yeah!" I grinned, clutching my stomach.

"What are you laughing about? Go on, tell me, we're together, right?" Jacob walked up.

"Um, what does N-O stand for? NO!" Em glowered at him menacingly.

"Why?" God, doesn't he understand?

"I believe we said no," I stepped in, trying to look mean.

"I give you one more chance. Yes or no?" Jacob demanded.

"No." I stood defiantly.

With that word, all hell broke loose.

Cliffy again! Heh, sorry, and slow update... I've just been really discouraged about writing this book. I haven't been getting enough votes, etc. Tell you what, I'll update when I've got at least 25-30 likes in every chapter (Well maybe not the authors' notes), 5-10 comments and at least 5 new followers, okay? I know this seems harsh and I'm sorry, but I see no point in writing this book if there's not many people enjoying reading it. Thanks for understanding, and again, sorry  sorry sorrysorrysorrysorrysorrysorrysorrysorrysorrysorry!
