Suddenly, the scene disappeared. 7 people stood before me, looking anxious.
"What happened?" I asked nonchalantly.
"Well, when we told you Edward left -" Carlisle started.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE LEFT!?" I yelled.
"He said that e-everything was his f-f-fault," Rosalie said shakily.
"This is my fault... we have to go get him!" I cried.
"How?" Alice wondered.
Then her eyes went blank. Her expression went from confused to devilish.
"I KNOW!" she yelled.
I jumped. "What?"
"He's going to Alaska, and he's not making very good progress... so we have to intercept him on the way," Alice explained.
Rose frowned. "But he's way faster than all of us! We can't just 'intercept' him!"
"Don't worry," Alice reassured us. "This is going to work. Trust me."
I looked up at them. "I miss Edward..."
Out of nowhere, I burst in tears.
Everyone looked shocked.
"EDWARD!!!" I screamed. "EDW-W-W-WARD!"
"Sedation!" Carlisle called.
I started breathing, faster and faster.
"Edward..." I was in hysterics now.
Then a needle went into my arm and I could see no more.

I opened my heavy eyes to extreme nausea. Looking around, I saw only Esme, sitting on the couch.
"Mom?" I asked, and started retching.
"Bella??!!" she cried, then suddenly disappeared and reappeared in front of me, holding a bowl.
This was not normal puke. It was blood.
"Carlisle!" Esme called, and he appeared.
Carlisle stared at me for a while before snapping into action.
"Doctor Bloomsworth!" he cried.
An elderly doctor and a team of nurses appeared a few minutes later. I didn't stop vomiting.
The doctor gasped and took matters into his own hands. And Carlisle's, of course. After what seemed like twenty-five hours later, I stopped puking. But lay back very weakly. I was shaking.
"Blood transfusions!" Carlisle yelled to one of the nurses. "Just look in her records!"
They kept working on me. When the nurse arrived with multiple bags of blood, I sighed.
"I hate.... n-n-needles..." I mumbled.
"Oh, sweetie, they're gonna help you. Just hang on, okay?" Carlisle reassured me.
The nurses jabbed a needle into my arm and I watched as the blood slowly trickle into my veins. I suddenly hunched over, a pain in my stomach was making itself known to me.
"Stomach... ache," I grunted.
"Okay, change of plan. We're gonna take you for a barium x-ray," Dr. Bloomsworth looked at me.
"Do whatever you want," I muttered.
And they wheeled me away.

"Drink this, Bella," a new doctor handed me a cup of a thick white liquid.
I took it and obediently drank it. When I finished it, I couldn't help but make a face.
The doctor laughed. "Yes, I know, that's not the best drink."
I giggled, and lay down on the metal bed. The doctor took me into a room with this big machine and slid the bed in it. There were a lot of beeps, a pretty scary red light scanned me and I was brought out again.
"You can get out now," the doctor smiled at me. "And go back to your room. Don't forget to take your blood transfusions with you."
I nodded, starting to leave. But I didn't get very far before another crippling stomach 'attack' sent me falling to my knees. The kind doctor came running.
"Oh my, are you okay?" she asked, helping me to my feet.
"Just another stomach ache," I replied, bending over.
"Oh dear, here, let me help," she bent down and put my arm over her shoulders.
We hobbled together all the way back to my room, where I jumped in bed. "Thank you."
"You're welcome, this is my job."
