The door burst open and I saw a silhouette of wildly curly hair.

"Well, well, well, who did I hear talking on the phone?" a honey-sweet voice sang venomously.

I braced myself just as she picked me up and hurled me across the tiny room. The last thing I remembered was immense pain where I hit the hard wall before falling into oblivion. I think I was screaming, but I wasn't sure.

Edward's P.O.V.

I overheard Carlisle talk to my dear Bella on the phone and to say the least, I wasn't impressed. In fact, I felt a raging desire to kill this Vicky for hurting my little sister. Nuh uh. I was not going to allow my sister to be abused like that, I mean, she's been through so much already. What with that idiot Dalton and all before we found her. Who knows what he would have done to her if Esme hadn't found her. Sure, it's been 7 years since then, but I think Bella still hasn't healed from those traumatic times. I still catch her squirming around in bed with terrible nightmares.

"Edward, are you coming?" Carlisle called to me from downstairs.

"Yep, just a second!" I shouted back.

I grabbed my jacket and phone before using my super speed to practically teleport downstairs to where Esme and Carlisle were standing, waiting for me. They knew I would want to come. They're amazing, unbelievably compassionate people.

Poor Edward. If I were him, I would have just locked myself in and cried for days, Carlisle was thinking sympathetically.

"Off we go, then!" Esme was practically bouncing at the thought of finally finding her baby. Edward can lead the way.

"Wait, what? Hold on, I don't even know where we're heading!" I protested.

"Oh, oops, sorry, son," Carlisle chuckled, handing me a map. "We're going to Cardiff here, this castle."

I nodded and took off, my 'parents' right behind me. The forest blurred around me, the scent of animals surrounded me, and I loved it. I loved this scenery. I enjoyed the speed I had. Well, this wasn't the time to be thinking about this. Bella was in danger.

That thought sent me hurtling forward even faster, until Carlisle's thoughts caught up to me.

Edward, slow down, we can't catch up, he thought. I'm sure Bella's not in any immediate danger.

"What if she's being tortured at this very moment?" I snarled, stopping.

Carlisle and Esme ran right past me, wheeled around and rejoined me again.

"Edward, Bella's a strong girl, I'm sure she's fine," Esme reassured softly, putting her hand on my arm.

"Look, Edward, she's been through much worse, she can handle it," Carlisle said. "I promise I will heal any wounds she has."

"What about any mental ones, huh?" I demanded. "Are you going to cut her brain up to remove any bad memories?"

"Of course I can't do that - though I might be able to bang her head against the wall and hope that she loses her memories of Dalton and any pain," he chuckled at his own joke.

"What?!" I glared at him.

"Well, if you don't want that, then get going!" Esme pushed me forward, and I took off running once again.

Not long after, we reached the castle. It had a haunting look to it. I couldn't believe that this was the place Bella had been trapped in for however long she had been missing.

I was about to step inside when Carlisle stopped me. "When we get inside, how do you know where Bella will be? I mean, that castle's huge."

"Well, we'll search every room!" I growled.

"Do you want to make a plan? How about we split up and search the castle so we waste less time?" Esme suggested softly.

"Okay, if any of you find her send me a thought, okay? I'll get the other person and take you to her," I agreed.

We ran inside the castle and, as agreed, I went left, Carlisle straight, and Esme right. I opened every door, but no luck. I scoured the entire second floor, she was nowhere. I sighed, giving up, until I heard Esme's thought.

Edward, she's here. With Vicky. Bring Carlisle.

I raced through the castle, found Carlisle, and dragged him to where Esme was. She was standing in front of a door, through which I could hear a sickly sweet voice cackling madly.

"That'll teach you not to call for help!"

There was no response from Bella.

Carlisle pushed the door open, his face full of fiery determination. Vicky turned to us in surprise. I tackled her.

Hey there guys! I've FINALLY recovered, and thank you to all of your kind words! School for me starts next Wednesday, and I will try to update. I've just been so busy with crap. No worries, and thank you to you all who have gotten this far and have voted, commented and just encouraging me to update. I've decided that I'm not going to start a new book (at least not yet) and just going to focus on my 2 books right now. Well, thanks for reading!
