Ingrid was trying, and that was something that Juliette really respected, but being at her parties was still weird for her still... Even weirder that she'd been willing to let her bring whoever she wanted... Granted, it was mostly because she wanted to make sure that Juliette felt safe, and she knew that and was grateful, but she never expected that kind of kindness out of Ingrid.
Did having everyone with her make her less bored?
No. She just... Really didn't like parties anymore, but if other people were enjoying themselves, then she didn't wanna pull them away, she could just suffer, and-.
"Hey." Juliette looked over, seeing Esme staring at her, almost through her skin in a way that made her feel bare.
And she only liked feeling bare with Esme when they had privacy.
"Hm?" They scooted closer, hand sliding across her lower back, resting right on top of the waistband of her pants as they leaned down beside her ear.
Hello.
"Are you having any fun?" Esme asked gently, their breath hot against her ear in a way that wasn't unpleasant... It just kind of reminded her that she was alive. It was one of the few almost pleasant things she'd felt all night.
"Not really, but if you are-." They cut her off, shaking their head.
"I'm not." Esme said flatly and Juliette chuckled, looking over at them... God, they'd said that so easily.
"Oh."
"Do you wanna get out of here?" That was the easiest yes that Juliette had ever been presented with.
She took a half sip from her cup and nodded.
"I mean, it's a little boring and very loud, so I'd say yes to that." But she didn't want to leave people here... She didn't want to ditch her friends in a place none of them fully wanted to be in, that felt cruel. "We should gather everyone first." She said, glancing over to see Esme giving her a mock salute.
Cute.
"I'll get right on that... Maybe we could just go to the diner? Get some food?" Esme asked, and Juliette nodded instantly, turning towards them, feeling Esme's hand slip off her lower back as she brought her arms around their back so that she could tuck her hands into the back pockets of their jeans.
She wanted to get out of here with them.
"That sounds amazing." Juliette sighed, grinning when Esme cupped her face, leaning down to press a soft kiss to her lips. She gripped onto the hem of her shirt, sighing against their lips...
God, she wasn't as bored anymore... Horny? Sure. But not as bored. Esme made everything more fun.
"Okay, I'll be right back." Esme pressed a lingering, almost possessive kiss on her lips, hands slipping from her face down to her hips, slipping under the fabric of her shirt to rest their hands on her mid back, making her shiver before they pulled away, smirking down at her. Evil. "Don't go anywhere." Why would she?
Unless they were there, why would she?
"Wouldn't dream of it, handsome." She murmured, kissing them once more before she let them walk away, watching every step... God, they really were just as hot from the back, weren't they. She chewed on her lip, fiddling with the edge of her cup...
Matter of fact... Maybe they could leave everyone at the diner... Because for the first time in weeks, she was feeling like she could actually-.
