Chapter Fifteen~ Beach Day

I was home alone for the relatively warm weekend. This was the last one until spring and I was planning on spending all of it in my pajama's. But, my plans changed when I heard a knock on the front door and opened it to see Chace, Willa, and Amber. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked, voice raspy. I had just woke up and finished making this coffee, so I was still a little asleep... a lot asleep.

"WE are taking you to the beach. You need a day off." Willa smiled at me as I let them in. "Go change, the others are waiting in the cars." she ordered, taking my coffee and pushing me for the stairs. "Pack for a weekend!" she called. I quickly changed into a pair of shorts, a turquoise tank top, with white tom's. And I quickly put on mascara and brushed out my hair, and packed my things waking up in the process. I came downstairs in around 15 minutes. I had let my natural hair flow. "What about my parents?"

"Why do you think they let you stay home alone? They knew we were taking you away." Chace appeared from the kitchen, with a to go version of the batman cup I was using, "Coffee to go. Don't forget to lock up on the way out." He smirked as everyone piled out of the house. I locked the door behind me. "To the beach!" I shouted to the sky.

"Dibs on riding in Lexi's car!!" I heard Chace call. I laughed as we climbed into my car. Putting the top down for the only time until it get's warmer, I decided I was gonna enjoy it. I turned on the radio and cranked it up. "Whooooo-hoo!" I heard Chace's voice beside me as we I pulled out and started for the beach.

I started singing along to She Looks So Perfect when I felt a slap on my arm. I looked over to see Chace smirking at me, "Still sing I see." I opened my mouth to speak when he interrupted me, "No, no, no... sing it loud. Sing it proud. isn't that what you said?" I nodded slightly, looking at the road. "So sing!" he laughed and we sang together. Sometimes we were serious and sang with the song, other times we were just goofing around singing ahead or behind the song and way off key.

Three hours later, we pulled up to the tiki home on the beach that we were staying in. "This is gorgeous!" I gushed as I shut off the car. "How did we manage something like this?"

"My dad keeps this place over the summer." Amber called as she and the others climbed out of their cars. "We come down here I July and stay until school." she shrugged, as if it was no big deal. I smiled up at the house. This was gonna be a good weekend.

We all walked inside together to be greeted by the warm feel of the living room which had two couches, one love seat and the bigger one with a three seater with a nice coffee table on a white carpet and the walls were painted a beige and the kitchen right across from the living room. Everyone chuckled lightly at the thought of staying here together all weekend. There was quite a bit of people here. Me, Chace, Willa, Amber, Brandon(Chace's best bud), Michael(Willa's cousin), and Kyle(Amber's brother). There was three bedrooms. Willa, Amber and I quickly called the master bedroom and ran to it. Leaving the boys to decide Chace and Brandon stay together in one room, and Kyle and Michael in the other.

Amber, Willa and I quickly dropped our stuff and attacked the hanging bed. We laughed as it rocked back and forth like a hammock. Lucky for us, we could all fit on the California King Size bed. "This is perfect," Willa breathed. "Now all that's left ladies, is to find a weekend beach romance." she wiggled her eyebrows at us. Amber and I exchanged looks and both off us whacked Willa with a pillow. "Ow! Okay, okay. Let's just get to the beach!" she squealed and we laughed, one at a time running the adjoining bathroom and  changing. Amber had put on a turquoise and purple bikini with black flip flops, Willa had put on a black bikini with white polka dots on it with cheetah print flip flops and I had put on a black bikini with white anchors on it wearing black flip flops to.

We ran out of the room to find the guys had the same idea that we did. Exchanging smirks, we ran out to the beach that was in, get this, the back yard! We just had to run down a whole lot of sand, but once we got to the water, I looked to the left and right, and sure enough, the beach was right here.

Once we'd set up, I heard Amber cheer as she turned the radio up and her and Willa ran out into the water dragging Michael and Kyle with them, dunking them underwater. Chace, Brandon, and I exchanged looks. Finally Brandon shrugged them smirked at Willa, "Watch out Willa, shark behind you!" he called. Willa turned and he took advantage, running out and dunking her under.

"I give it a week," Chace and I said in sync, referring to before Willa and Brandon became a couple. We shared a laugh then he looked down at me. Smirking. he brought his lips down to my ear and whispered, "Guess what?"

I mentally shivered at his breath running down my neck, extremely aware of my pounding heart and shaky hands, "What...?"

He chuckled lightly, then acted like he was gonna say something when he threw me over his shoulder and waved out to the others. "What to do with her boys?" I could hear the smirk in his voice when he spoke. I pounded on his back trying to get him to let me go.

"Let me go Chace!" I shrieked through laughs.

"Okay." he shrugged, then he threw me off his shoulder and into the water. I surfaced coughing slightly, the impact of the water had knocked the breath out of me. "Ha, ha, Chace." I rolled my eyes playfully, "Very funn-" I was cut off as I was pulled under again by the ankles. I forced my eyes open in the saltwater to see a blurry person pulling me farther out to sea under water, I tried to kick at the attacker but they wouldn't let go.

I felt hands grab me and heard screams and splashes as the others followed me. I knew that this wasn't a joke. Someone wanted me to drown.

So how do you like it? I left it at a cliff hanger but don't worry. I will continue writing chapters tonight and posting them since I have nothing to do.
