The waterpark was great. We had the best time ever. But sadly, today is work day. Willa and I pulled up at the same time and smiled at each other. "Oh my God, your hair!" I squealed. "You dyed it!" I ran over to her and took gentle handfuls of her now slightly blonde hair.

"Does it look bad?" she kind of squinted nervously, Willa may be fabulous, but she still gets a little insecure every now and then, She's been hanging around the all amazing  Amber to long I swear.

"It looks GREAT!" I assured, "Totes magnifique," I did a bad French accent and we shared a laugh. "Come on, we don't wanna be late." I linked arms with her and we walked into the mall. Best thing about getting here before everyone else? we got to walk by as the shops around us opened. And, since we're like the typical teenage girls, it was like magic. We sighed happily as we walked in the already opened up Abercrombie.

"Okay ladies, which ones Lexi?" a very fine blonde haired guy in the same uniforms as us walked up.

I raised a hand halfway, holding a finger up, "That'd be me," I smiled.

"I'm Jordan, your "mentor"," he laughed out slightly putting air quotes around 'mentor', then he looked at Willa, "Alex should be along in a minute."

"Here now," another worker walked up. Willa and I exchanged looks. I. Love. This. Job. He looked over at me, "Hi there Lexi." I laughed a greeting back and he turned to Willa, "And you must be Willa."

"Yes, iam hello." she smiled politely. Soon we were pulled away from each other by our mentors and were taught tricks and tips to folding the clothes and such.

When Willa and I were let off to lunch we decided to go see if Amber was allowed out. We walked down the hall to see Amber sweeping hair off the floor. Willa knocked on the glass and Amber looked up. Seeing Willa's hair se threw a hand over her mouth. She quickly took care of the hair then ran to the back. When she came back out she squealed, "Oh my God!! You did it!!"

"I did," she kinda laughed, "You free for lunch?"

"Why do you think I ran out here?" Amber bobbed her head slightly and we laughed.

"You two go get us a seat at the restaurant down there? i'll go see if the boys can come?" they nodded and I walked off to the other side of the mall. I walked into sports check. I looked around the place: they've changed it up. I smiled to myself then heard a voice behind me.

"Welcome to sports check, can I help you?"

I turned to see the owner of the voice and smiled politely, "Uh yeah, is there a Chace here? Just started today for the summer?"

"He's with a customer...." the guy jerked his head behind him, where everything was hidden from view because i'm short. "Can I take a message...?"

"No i'll wait..." I clasped my hands together.

"I'm Logan by the way." he winked at me.

"Lexi." I nodded slightly.

"Lexi.. Cute name, it matches everything about you.." he stepped closer. I just shook my head slightly. Way to be obvious. "Can I have your number..?"

"Sure," I heard Chace speak up from behind him, "it's 604-555-back off my girl." he glared at Logan who nodded and walked off quickly.

I couldn't help but laugh, "That rhyme was lame and you should be ashamed." with a wink I got to business, "You and Brandon free for lunch?  Willa and Amber are saving a place at that new restaurant they recently added.."

"Sounds good to me, i'll check with Brandon." he walked off and minutes later came back with Brandon. "Let's go." he smiled which I returned and gave him a quick kiss. Next thing I know we were finishing lunch and going back to work.

When work ended and everything started closing up my mentor Jordan walked up to me, "We're trusting you, Lexi. Lock up tonight, okay?"

I nodded and he walked out. I gave Willa a quick goodbye hug and walked to the back to get my bag. My phone went off. Chace. I answered, "Hello?"

"Hey, babe. I'm so sorry again for tonight. When I made plans I forgot all about my grandparents wedding anniversary.."

"It's fine," I smiled. "I have to lock up tonight, Just call me tomorrow, kay?" he agreed and we hung up. I locked up the store and went out to the parking lot. I heard a bunch of voices behind me as I tried to unlock my car. I turned to see men stumbling over from the bar. Great.

I tried to fumble with the button, but it kept getting jammed. I felt a strong hand grip my shoulder and I dropped my keys. Oh no.
