Chapter Twenty-Nine~ What Just Happened?

(Btw the picture for this chapter has nothing to do with this chapter, I just wanted to use this picture)

*Chace's POV*

"You," she whispered, looking up at me with those big, blue, perfect eyes.

I felt a smile grow on my face and her nervousness melted away. "I love you," I whispered meaning it completely, "I've loved you since we were kids....."

"I've loved you since we were kids too." she confessed, her cheeks turning pink.

She looked down at our feet and I tilted my her back up with my finger, "Don't look down.... then I can't see your beautiful face." she smiled and blushed harder. My eyes flickered from her eyes to her lips and back. She bit her lip slightly and we leaned in, our lips touched and a collision of passion erupted from us.

It was like magic. After all this time we finally have a real kiss. I felt my tongue press against her bottom lip, asking for entrance. That's when she pulled away eyes big and shocked. "We can't do this... not yet."

I felt my heart drop, "Lexi...."

"No. no I just broke up with Kyle. I can't just go from one relationship to another." she shook her head backing away from me. "We can't" her voice cracked, she put a hand over her mouth then turned running back to her home. I just stood there watching her, too shocked to move.

What just happened?

*Lexi's POV*

Ugh! your so stupid!

Why did you run away like that?! now he probably thinks your insane!!

I sighed as I sat at my desk. I logged onto IM and Willa was online.

lexibabi: OMG you'll never guess what just happened to me.

willasthebest: Whatttttt?

lexibabi: I dumped Kyle, who was gonna dump me for a college chick...

willasthebest: You go girl!!!

lexibabi: There's a catch... I called Chace to come over and we kissed.... like really kissed.

willasthebest: WooHoo you slutttttt!

lexibabi: Can I come over?

willasthebest: Sure...just be prepared for people to be hereeee.

lexibabi: k

*lexibabi has logged off*

I got in my car and drove over to Willa's. I pulled up to hear music start up. Thumping music. Music Willa didn't usually listen to. That was something the should've told me to go back....

But I didn't.

I climbed out of my car and went inside, Willa expecting me and by all the cars she had over showed a party. I looked around to see this party was way different than Willa's normal ones. Willa usually has parties that have the latest hits, they were usually pool parties. This party had what sounded like screamo music and there were drunk people everywhere. Including Willa. She must've got in a fight with her ex again. The one that gave her so much trouble at the beginning of the year. "There's my bitch!" she yelled above the music, stumbling over to me. "Have a drink, dear your too tense." she smirked and I pushed her off.

"Whats going on here?" I asked and she just shook her head smirking. "I should go....." I started back out for my car, Only to be turned around by Willa, "Come on, Lexi.... it-it-it's just a party with a liiiiiittle booze." she grinned drunkenly. I shook my head as people piled out. Two guys pushed past Willa, they smelled like the bathed in alcohol they were so drunk.

"Come on stay baby" one of them murmured in my ear as they stood behind me, starting to wrap their arms around my waist. I pushed them away but the other one came up in front of me, pushing me from one guy to another. I felt myself being prodded, grabbed and I felt my neck being kissed. I couldn't catch my breath or my balance to stop moving.

I closed my eyes tight, then I heard screaming. I re opened my eyes to see that the same dark figure from before (A/N: You thought I forgot about him  didn't you?)  pushing a space through the drunk and confused guys. He reached a gloved hand out to me and I took it, anything to get away from there. He pulled me through the crowd and towards my car. He moved me towards the passenger side and I got in. He slid across the hood like in an action movie and  climbed in the drivers seat. He sped off towards my house, keeping his face in the shadows. I calmed down from  the shock and looked over at him, "Who are you?"

He didn't answer. Instead he pulled into my driveway, squeezed my hand, then got out, racing off into the dark. I sat there in the car for a little, putting a hand on my head trying to process what just happened. The same guy saved me twice. He just drove me home. and I still have no idea who he is.
