Unattractiveness cloaks me,
The desperation for love fills its vessel.

Isn't leading people on one of the tasks on your bucket lists?

Maybe it's just the luck I'm born with,
Maybe someone else is more special than me,
I wonder when the one for me will be right next to me.

Perhaps it's someone I know,
Perhaps the one is you,
I can never tell, for you are already preoccupied.

I live in the suburbs of Paris;
On the streets couples display publicly their undying love.
Behind buildings, on alleyways, lies my lonely soul.

It is the ultimate companionship that I seek,
Friendships, partnerships - anything but relationships within love,
For I am tired of being lead on yet again.
