Dearest Poet

Dearest Poet,

Through your waves of emotions,
Through your scribbles of thoughts,
In search for love,
In search for companionship.

I truly support you in everything you do,
Constantly liking your posts on the Page,
But eventually I gave up,
When all you could truly express was your desperation to find someone to love.

Being led on isn't a nice feeling to have,
Especially by someone who has mentioned you in his poems.

I'm glad you finally manned-up and confessed,
To a girl who even you yourself say doesn't give you a single thought in her mind,
Whilst I considered if we would work out or not.

I've done my part,
I've supported you enough,
It's time you venture into the world in search for your true love without much of my assistance,
I wonder if you'd be patient enough to wait for 'the one',
For I believe that it is Him who truly provides one their ultimate companions.

To end this pathetic poem, I wish you the best of luck in the future that will involve little to none of me.
