I must rejoice, like Job did,
Even as the world turns its back on me,
Even as my worldly freedom goes robbed unexpectedly,
Even as my heart shatters into a million bits.I must rejoice, like Job did,
Even as I can't have things I love,
Even as I give away my cats "to someone who loves them as much as I do" (it's the same line they all use),
Even as the.. thoughts and cries, roam free in my room without him being next to me.I must rejoice, like Job did,
Even as schizophrenia and depression and stroke gradually steal my life away,
Even as taxes and car loans and education costs create an impenetrable glass ceiling,
Even as laundry and washing and cleaning come a bit too much, too soon.I must rejoice, like Job did,
Even as they refuse to understand me,
Even as they refuse to learn of my interests and passions,
Even as they weigh on advice and calls and texts everyday, expecting me to follow every single one without failing. (No mistakes, must be perfect)I must rejoice, like Job did,
Because God is good. He's given me this passion in serving
This passion in gaming
This passion in robotics
This heart to empathise
This heart to love
This heart to rejoice
These hands to drive
These legs to walk
These shoulders to comfort
These eyes to see
This mouth to praise
These ears to listenThank you Lord.
I'll testify you in these hard times, I give you all the glory, I will continue to praise Your Name.
Thank you Lord, for making me stronger.
For Your grace and mercy.
Thank you Lord._
