'Damnit!' I thought when I saw you both
A cheeky face you pulled
Yonder phone, was just about to fall out of my hands

Tick, the clock goes
Oh, if only I had acted a day earlier
Oh, if only I stayed by you that day

Loops - how my feelings and your reality look like
A pallette of opposite colours
The paint brush disagreeing with the artist's strokes
Every attempt of reciprocation, diminished
