- Memories -
We're almost reaching the end of our course,
And soon we'll all split apart.
This journey has made my inner voice hoarse,
But the jar of memories collected can be compared to an overfilled shopping cart.Years from now,
Shared moments would simply become stories of our pasts;
Years from now,
Our best memories will be recalled, and the worst ones will be cast. From all the late night studying,
to all the "early morning" Dota-ing,
From all the Sunday night After Black dinners,
to all the Vodka Frappuccino moments,
From all the (annoyingly) fabulous hair-flips,
to all the calls to you lasses that will forever be missed -I will honestly miss all this.
I grew from being the naive, cocky, little human being,
to becoming a stronger, more mature person, learning from under His wing.I'm sorry for all the trouble that I have caused,
I hope I did not cause any form of remorse.
If you think you have caused any in mine,
Chill out because all my previous bad thoughts have already been tossed.Throughout this one-and-a-half-year span,
I've learnt how to be a better friend,
Know that there will always be people who would stick by me till the end,
And if I fall, they'd be there to lend me a hand. For all this,
I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
For all this,
Know that you'll always have a piece of my heart.
With the evidence of a tear-drop at the end of this poem,
I sign this poem off with the utmost form of sincerity-Love, Miriam.
