When my emotions get the best of me
I write, I sing, I go to sleep
But when these emotions come from you, you see
I can't write, I can't sing - I've gone too deep

There have been so many times
Where you make me speechless on paper
My mind would betray proper rhymes
I guess for as long as I love you, this cycle would have to be my forever

You don't seem to have any idea, absolutely
How many times a day your name flashes on my mind
And how many times I've relived our first shared memory
And yet, though, despite it all, I don't want to rewind

In the dark, in the light
In the peace, or in a fight
You have made my world even more bright
The mere presence of you would make me feel alright

I always wonder when our time will come
If 'Us' would even exist at all
Like the love for gold a hero has when he desperately needs his farm*
I have a greater love for you, that started off with one simple gesture, and one great fall
