Since you had promised the younglings that you would take them out before their summer break finished, you decided to take them all to the ferris wheel, near one of the rivers.
Originally, it was just going to be you, Momiji, Kisa and Hiro and you were going to go amusement park. However, it was too far so you decided the ferris wheel. In addition, Yuki had decided to join the four of you. So now it felt much more like a... family outing.
"Let's go! Let's go!" Momiji excitedly said, as the five of you made your way past the ticket booth. "I'm warning you again, be sure not to bump into anyone." You warn, as they all nodded. Kisa was holding on to your hand, as she excitedly looked around, her and Hiro picked which colored seat they wished to get.
"Let's stand in line?" You asked, as they all nodded in response before you stood in line. The kids all chattered excitedly, waiting for their turn as you turned to Yuki. "Excited?" You asked, watching him glance at the huge ferris wheel. "Wow, that is high." He mumbled, slightly nervous about how high up the ferris wheel went.
You laughed at his expression, before gently patting his back. "It'll be alright, i'm here." You say in reassurance, as he smiles, easing down slightly. "I'm glad you are." He responds, turning his attention to the kids who all waddled along as the line got shorter and shorter.
"Are you guys excited?" You ask, watching all three of them turn to you. "I can't wait to see all of the city from the wheel!" Momiji excitedly said, making hand gestures as he referred to all of the city. "Do you think we'll be able to see the Sohma Estate?" Kisa asked as you hummed thinking for a moment. "I'm pretty sure you will."
"We're next." Hiro said, pointing to the ferris wheel that was about to come to a pause. You were most likely going to get the green car. "Are you excited?" Momiji asked, turning back to look at you. "I'm superrrrr excited!" You say, as the kids began to walk to your designated car. "Me too!"
You and Yuki ended up sitting on one side while Momiji, Kisa and Hiro sat on the other side. And before you knew it, the ferris wheel began to move. You glued yourself to the window, watching in mesmerization as the land began to get smaller and smaller.
Meanwhile Yuki watched as your eyes twinkled amazed at how the ferris wheel worked. For a split second, he couldn't believe that such a kindhearted and beautiful woman was all his, it felt like along with his curse he was given a blessing. He smiled to himself at the thought before switching his attention back to Momiji, the two conversing about some random food store they could see.
"Kisa, look!" You say, catching Kisa's attention as you pointed at the Sohma estate. You could barely make it out since it was so far away yet could somehow recognize it from anywhere. "The Sohma estate!" She said excitedly, gluing herself to the window. She tried to see if she could find anyone she knew, but it was simply too far.
The ferris wheel eventually came to a stop at the very top, and you could see how the sky began to get dark. The five of you sat in complete silence trying to take in this moment of how you were all together, simply enjoying each other's company.
"Isn't it pretty?" You say out loud, as they all turned to you. "It feels like I'm on a cloud." Momiji responded, watching the sun began to set as the cities lights turned on. "I wish we could be here forever." Kisa said, watching over all her favorite places with her best memories. "We can always come back." Hiro added, hoping to make Kisa's wish come true. You turned to him finding his innocent and love rather cute.
Yuki glanced at you, freezing for a solid moment. He liked the way the sun fell on you, and how pretty you looked in this moment. It made him feel all tingly and got his heart racing. However, what made this moment more special to him was that you were here, with all the people he loved. It was all of you here. He smiled, once more, at the thought, ruffling Momiji's hair.
"Oo! Let me take a picture of the three of you." You say, bringing out an old camera Hatori had once given you. "Say cheese!" The three sat closer together, allowing you to capture a picture of them, the sun and the view of the city.
After that, the camera got passed around, to take... a picture of just the guys, and then just the girls, just Kisa and Hiro, You and Kisa, You and Momiji, Yuki and the kids. You and the kids. All five of you. And so on...
When the ferris wheel began to make its way back down, the camera made it back to you, the last photo being one of you and Yuki. Yuki moved a little closer to you to see the last photo the two of you had taken together. He liked the way it had turned out. He leaned closer to you and whispered, "You look really pretty in that picture."
