You could smell the familiar scent of the hospital as you sat behind Isuzu, on her hospital bed braiding her hair for her. You were humming to yourself, as Isuzu got lost deep in thought. A knock came from the door, as you both turned towards it and watched as Tohru entered the room. "Tohru-chan!" You greeted, as she walked over offering you a warm hug. "(Name)-chan!"
"You're here again?" Isuzu asked, as Tohru blinked in adoration to Isuzu's twin tails. "How adorable! I've never seen you with your hair tied up!" Tohru said, adored the sight, a soft blush on her cheeks as she awkwardly stood beside the both of you, you laughed at her expression. "Oh, that reminds me, I bought jello." Tohru added, as Isuzu perked up at the sound of her favorite food.
"You actually bought some? What an idiot." Isuzu grumbled, yet there was a soft blush gracing her features along with a shy smile. "I know it was bold of me, but I took it upon myself to make some." Tohru bashfully said, placing the bag of multiple flavored jellos in the refrigerator. "Please eat them whenever you wish!" She added, a soft smile on her face.
"Let me guess why you came here today." Isuzu said, startling Tohru as she tilted her head in confusion. "Excuse me?" Tohru asked. "It's about the zodiac curse, right?" Isuzu answered her as Tohru stared in surprise. "I'm sorry! I totally forgot we were going to break the curse!" Tohru yelled, gaping in horror at the fact that she forgot one of the most important things. You glance at her, biting back a smile at her expression.
"How about we discuss this outdoors? A walk sounds nice! Plus the doctor said you're supposed to get proper exercise." You bring up, as Tohru nods in agreement glancing out the window. "I agree! It's beautiful outside!" She said, glancing at the multicolored trees by the hospital. "If that's what you want." Isuzu responded, sighing as she got up. "Yay!"

The sky was bright blue, with white clouds. And the trees had many leaves ranging from the colors of red to orange to yellow, some even green. A small breeze blew past the three of you, as you walked upon the neat rock path. "Akito-san told that Akito-san's existence is equivalent to that of God, and that all the zodiac members will live together with Akito-san." Tohru said, her voice soft as she approached a rather sensitive topic.
"Like.. live in the same place? At the same pace?" You ask, as Tohru nodded her head.. recalling Akito's words. "Is that what the zodiac members call the curse? Is that bond the curse?" Tohru slowly asked, watching as Isuzu slowly took out the braids in her hair. "It's not like we have any memory of it... but God and the zodiac members made a promise. Probably long ago. Hundreds of years ago. A promise to be together for eternity." Isuzu explained, her voice soft.
"No matter how many times reborn, they made a promise to be together, never to be separated, to meet. To be together and forever. We're bound by that promise even to today." She continued, gazing up at the blue sky and watching as the birds flew around with freedom. "Though we don't remember the promise, the blood of the zodiac spirit does. It may appear to be a beautiful "bond" to an outsider, but it's nothing but a chain we feel burdened by it, that's why it's a "curse."
"Isuzu there really no way to break the curse?" Tohru asked, as the three of you approached a small but beautiful fountain, the sound of water trickling down echoed through the area. "I don't even think Akito knows how..." You say under your breath, with a sigh. "I thought someone close to Akito would know how but... Gure-nii said he doesn't know, either." Isuzu added, crouching down in front to the water and staring at her own reflection.
"How about Kureno-san?" Tohru asked, crouching down to the left of Rin and staring at the water. "Kureno-chan?" You questioned, crouching to the right of Isuzu as you placed your hand in the water, the cold water touching your skin.
"Yes! Kureno-san might know..." Tohru began, however she was suddenly cut off by Isuzu. "He's no good. He's no use since he only follows Akito's orders. I don't consider him one of us." Isuzu explained, her tone suddenly changed, as she recalled Kureno's past actions. "Isuzu-chan... that's mean." You softly say, laughing at her expression. "I'm only saying what's true."
"I-i'll try to talk to him!" Tohru fiercely said, clenching her fists. "It's better if I do, Kureno-chan and I are somewhat close." You say, as Tohru nods her head, agreeing. "Don't do as you please." Isuzu grumbled before turning to Tohru. "Why.. do you want to break the curse?" She asked, staring at Tohru who blinked in surprise to the sudden question. "What is it that you can't give up? What is it that's most precious to you?"
"That's..." Tohru began, but halts... unsure if she should continue. You glance at her, having a vague idea of what it is. "You don't have to tell me..." Isuzu hesitantly responded, looking away from her and back at the water. "Just don't go running off to see Kureno by yourself. You too, (Name)." She adds, pushing herself off the ground as she stood up.. brushing the excess dust off of herself.
"Well if you're going to tell me not to do things on my own.. then... how about we team up and become a trio! How about it?" Tohru asks, a bright smile on her face as you nod in agreement. "Huh? What? I don't need an unreliable partner like you!" Isuzu responded, pointing a finger at Tohru.
"Huh? U-um, i'll do my best! I'll do my best, so..." Tohru frantically said, caught off guard at Rin's sudden words. "The Isuzu, Tohru, (Name), trio huh... We're gonna need a good team name!" You say, as Tohru nodded in agreement. "No, we won't!"
