You stopped at yet another house, and knocked on the door, you heard the laughter of an older woman as she opened the door. "Satsuki-chan!" You brightly greet, embracing the woman. She laughs in response, but quickly embraced you in a warm hug. Satsuki, was the mother of Hiro, and she had often babysat you when your parents were busy so you grew rather fond of her.
"Congratulations on your pregnancy!" You congratulate her, as she took your hands and rested them on her stomach. She was pregnant with Hiro's younger sister. "Aw, thank you, my dear. Please come inside!" She kindly asks, as you refuse the offer telling her you had a few errands to run. "Oh, it'll be fine and quick! Honoko-chan, and the kids are here!"
Honoko, was Kisa's mother. She was rather close with your own mother, as was Satsuki. The three of them getting along really well. "Well.. only for a couple of minutes then.." You say, as she gladly grabs your wrist and leads you into the house. You see Honoko calmly seated on the couches drinking tea, while Kisa, Hiro and Momiji all sat a corner coloring and drawing. "Look who's here!"
"(Name)-chan.." Honoko politely greets, a soft smile on her face. "How are you doing?" She asks as she gets up to come and say hello, "Honoko-chan, hii!" You say, gently embracing the woman as she opened her arms. "Oh! This reminds me," You start, fishing through your bag for a couple things, the two older woman curiously watching.
"My mom gave you a couple snacks that help soothe a mother during pregnancies!" You say, handing her a couple boxes that your mother had "Aww, please tell your mother thank you, and that she should drop by before I come there myself." She responds, as all of you laugh. Satsuki gladly takes them, grateful for the delicious food.
"Anddddd, here is the spices you had asked my mother for!" You tell Honoko, handing the spices your mom had her packed for her. "Relay her my gratitude." She says, as you nod your head with a smile. "I'll have to get going, but please do take care Satsuki-chan." You say, turning your attention back to her belly. "Aw, please come over for dinner one of these days." Satsuki sadly says, as you tell her you will.
"My house too, bring your mother as well." Honoko says, gently stroking your head. "I definitely will." You say, about to greet the kids and leave. "And.. thank you for protecting our children." Satsuki softly says, taking your hand into hers. "It's what any sister does." You warmly respond, giving her hand a squeeze. The two warmly smile at you, so happy to know such a kind being.
"No need to see me out, i'll greet the kids and head out." You say, as they both relay their thanks once again and tell you to take care. "Hi cuties." You say, watching all three kids look up at you. Kisa gets up and runs up to you, offering you a hug. "I'm just here to say hi, i'll have to leave." You say, ruffling Momiji's hair and slightly patting Hiro's.
"Aw~! Already?" Kisa asks, with a pout as you laugh at her expression. "Do you have to leavee?" Momiji sadly asks, clinging to you as did Kisa. "Unfortunately I do, but tell you what.. i'll take you guys somewhere exciting before summer ends, alright?" You say, as they all excitedly nod their heads. "Alright, i'll see you all soon!"
You head out, gently closing their door behind you and venture to perhaps one of your last houses of the day. You attempt to knock, however, the door.. was already open. You head into the house, hearing loud music playing from upstairs, and follow the music.
"What're you guys upto.." You say, as the two flinch in surprise and call out your name in unison. "Hi, Kagura-chan! Ri-chan!" You greet, accidentally breaking up their little fashion show that was going on. Kagura, the year of the boar, and fiesty girl was dressed in a little blue sparkly dress.
While Ritsu, the year of the monkey, who is also a male, was wearing a wig and pretty long red dress. "Wow, the two of you look stunning." You say, embracing Kagura as she came up to hug you. "Would you like to join us, (Name)-chan?" Ritsu eagerly asked, running up to you like a puppy.
"I would love to, but I do have a couple errands to run. Invite me next time though!" You say, as the older male pouts in response. "Ah! I got you guys a souvenir from the beach trip!" You say, attempting to cheer them up as you rummaged through your bag. The two soon perked up at the thought of a gift.
You gave Kagura a pretty little bow, in a color that she didn't have since the two of you had once gone on a hunt for it. "Wah! (Name)-chan! You finally fount it!" She excitedly says, already putting it up in her hair. And for Ritsu, you had bought him a decorative sun catcher which you know would look super cool in his room.
"Aw, thank you so much! This is so cute! I can't wait to put it up! It'll look so pretty!" He rambled on, as you nodded your head and offered him a smile. "Thank you!" The two said as you simply offered them a smile. The two had begged you to stay for a little longer, however it was getting late and you had to be home by dinner.
You had stopped by at Hatori's house, however it seemed he wasn't home, or at his clinic. So you simply walked on the path back to home... until you saw someone you weren't expecting to see at the estate... "Isuzu-chan?"

also i kind of want to start a new sohma x reader book, not as long as this one but like something simple, short, romantic. i'm thinking hatori, but am open to suggestions, as well as any sibling interactions or pairings you would like to see (thoughts???)
