You stood in front of your school, awaiting the Sohma family car with your mother in it. "Nervous?" Yuki asked, sneaking up behind you as he gently pat the top of your head. "Ki-chan!" You brightly say, looking up at him as he moved from behind you to in-front of you. "What're you doing here?"
"Thought I would greet your mother." He calmly said, standing beside you as the Sohma car pulled in. "You don't have to." You respond, turning to him but he simply offered you a smile, "It's okay, I want to." He tells you, before making his way over to your mother before you could. "Hey, no fair you got a head start." You yell, before jogging after him.
"Sohma-san, hello." Yuki politely asks, as he opened the door to the car. "Oh my, Yuki-kun~! What a pleasant surprise." Your mother responded, as she got out off the car, thanking Yuki for his kindness. The two engaging in small talk as you made your way over to her, before the three of you made your way over to your designated room for parent teacher conferences.
"I would like to thank you for keeping up with my bratty daughter and looking out for my mischievous son." She told him, as she recalled the many times Yuki was dragged into either Haru's mess or your mess. "Oh no, not at all. It's them who have been keeping up with me." He politely responded, as you whined about being called bratty.
"Do come over for dinner one of these days, Yuki-kun. We'd all love to have you over!" Your mother said once more, as all three of you finally came to a stop in-front of a classroom. "Okayyy, Mom. Let poor Ki-chan go now." You say, attempting to shoo the male away but he lingered for a moment longer. "I will, Sohma-san. Take care." He said, offering her a polite smile before she entered the classroom.
"Good luck." He tells you, slightly squeezing your hand. "Thanks, Ki-chan! I'll catch you later?" You ask, as he nods his head, waving once more as you followed your mother in. "Hello, you two." Mayu, your homeroom teacher greeted, as you took a seat beside your mother. "Thank you so much for taking care of my daughter, Mayu-san."
Mayuko Shiraki, was not only your home room teacher, she was also the new woman Hatori was in a relationship with, although that was a secret only you and Shigure knew. In addition, your mother was also a regular at Mayu's family bookstore. "It's been my pleasure to have (Name) in my class." Mayu responded, smiling softly.
"Well then, let's move onto a few more important things. What would you like to do in your future?" Mayu asked you, as you hummed, thinking to yourself. In all honesty, you had no idea. You weren't particularly passionate about following something specific. You did want to pursue further education, along side Yuki, but in all honesty you didn't know what exactly you wanted to major in.
"I.. would like to get further education. However, I'm unsure of what exactly to pursue." You say, thinking to yourself. "That's alright, my daughter. You still have a lot of time ahead of you, so think it through thoroughly and don't rush into anything." Your mother said, turning to you as she reached out and took a hold of your hand, giving it a small squeeze.
"She's right. And if you still haven't decided what you'd like to do, then you could always major undecided and decide while you explore your university career." Mayu added, smiling once more as she wrote everything you had just told her. "As long as you have a brief idea of what you wanted to do, you're going to be fine." She added, as you nod. "Yeah, I'll be fine."

By the time, it was Yuki's turn for the parent teacher conference, it was already raining. However, you still wanted to show him your support like he had done so for you earlier today, so instead the two of you stood outside under a singular umbrella as the Sohma family car, pulled up once more in-front of the school.
"You really don't have to be here, my mom isn't as kind or caring as yours." Yuki said, a frown on his face as he clenched his fist at the sight of his mother in the car. You reached over, giving his clenched hand a squeeze. "I know your mother doesn't really like me, but I do want to try and fix my relationship with her." You told him, as he began to walk towards the car, under the umbrella.
His mother got out of the car, holding her own umbrella up as she approached the two of you. The two did not exchange greetings or even some sort of expression of acknowledgment... instead she glared at you. "Sohma-san, have you been well?" You ask, offering her a bright smile and attempting to strike up a conversation with her.
She simply walked past you, not bothering to acknowledge your existence as she entered the door. "I recall letting you know that my son doesn't need people like you or your brother." She muttered under her breathe, as she past by you. Yuki sighs, at his mother's harsh words.. wondering why someone as bright as you had to deal with words like that from her.
However, he didn't have the courage to stand up to her yet. Instead he gently patted your head, before mumbling a quiet, "Sorry, i'll see you later." And attempting to catch up with his mother. You offer him a smile, as he walked away.. before sighing. What a wonderful mother she was.
You quietly followed behind them, attempting to wait for Yuki once he was done with his own meeting. You leaned against the wall outside of the classroom, looking out the window as you got lost in your own thought. However... it wasn't long before you noticed a familiar figure waltzing down the hallway. "Aya-chan?"
You stared at him in surprise as he approached you all dressed up nice and elegantly, his hair tied back into a low ponytail, and a beautiful large bouquet of roses in his hand. "Oh my, sister-in-law! What're you doing here?" He asked, offering you one of his brightest smiles yet. "I was just worried about him." You mumble back, feeling slightly eased at the entrance of his presence.
"No need to worry when Yuki's older brother is here!" He brightly said, swinging around the bouquet in his hand. "I'll take care of it..." He added, a soft smile on his head as he ruffled your head. You had no idea what it was with everyone ruffling and patting your head. "Yeah, Yuki's older brother will save the day."
"You get it, my dear! Now here's a rose for my precious little sister!" He said, offering you a singular rose from the bouquet of roses he had. You smiled brightly, thanking him for the pretty rose. "Well do get lunch with me sooner or later." He added, before slamming the door open and making an obnoxiously ecstatic entrance. "Good luck, Yuki..."
