"I shall rescue my fair princess!" You dramatically yell, holding a carrot in your hand as a sword. Kisa who had a fake crown on her head, stood atop of the sofa. "I won't let you get her!" The demon lord, Hiro yelled. Hiro's dragon, Haru guarded the tower.
"My fellow knights, we shall attack together!" You say, turning to Momiji and Tohru who also held carrots in their hands. You could hear Yuki laugh from the other sofa, as he, Kyo and Hatori watched in half amusement and half disappointment. "Onwards and Upwards!" Momiji, and Tohru yelled in unison.
Before you chucked a pillow at Haru, who dodged with ease. "Incoming arrows!" This resulted in a full on pillow war between you, Momiji, Tohru against Haru and Hiro. "I shall rescue you, my princess!" You yell, as you dodge all the pillows, and climb the sofa. With ease, you manage to lift Kisa into your arms, and she laughs with excitement.
You drop the carrot. "We will cover for you, our brave knight!" Momiji yells, as Tohru and Momiji fight the monsters and aid in your escape (jumping of the sofa and making your way to Hatori, the king who wants his daughter back.) "Noooooooooo, my princessssssss!!!!" Hiro dramatically yells, as the game comes to end and leaves everyone in the room laughing.

The fact that you had seen Isuzu was still running through your mind, and you couldn't help but feel worried. You frowned at the thought of her being out there alone, fighting for something you should be doing too. And instead you were goofing off with everyone here, whilst once again she was alone. Your racing mind came to a halt when Yuki softly ran his fingers through your hair.
The two of you were in Yuki's room of the summer villa. He was preoccupied reading a book, and you simply laid on the bed, with your head in his lap. Every now and then he would notice you frown or scrunch your eyebrows up, and laugh at the expression you made.
You could hear the voices of the children as they admired the packaged fireworks, you would set off soon. And the faint voices of Kyo and Momiji who were having a rather serious conversation outside the room. Kyo was summoned to see Akito today, something that rarely ever happened. So it seemed there was a lot on his mind.
You watched as Yuki's attention switched back to his book, his eyes seemed to follow the words so keenly. His skin glistened like freshly fallen snow, and his hair fell into all the right places, you notice a part of his collarbone, and the veins in hand as he flipped through the pages. You reached out, resting your hand on his cheek.
His attention fell back on you. "Is something the matter?" He asked, as he leaned into your touch. "What could be wrong when you're right next to me, and this villa is enveloped in laughter of all the people I love?" You say, smiling at the thought of truly being surrounded by all the people you loved.
Your words seemed to have some sort of magic in them, since Yuki easily fell into a trance. He placed his book down and watched as your eyes were solely on himself. He watched the way you comfortably laid in his lap. The way your hair gently sprawled into all directions. The way the moonlight seemed illuminate each and every one of your features. He had no idea what spell you placed, but it was working.
However at the very back of his head, Akito's warning seemed to break your spell. He could hear the echoes of those words in his head, and even envision the worst happening to you. His heart broke when he saw Rin today because.. you could very well end up just like her.
"A dollar for what's on your mind?" You jokingly ask, when you notice him frown. He seemed to snap out of his negative thoughts and place his attention back on you. "It seems protecting someone is actually harder than it sounds." He responded, his fingers tracing the outline of your facial features.
"Oh yeah? Need me to be your knight in shining armor, my princess?" You tease, only earning pain as Yuki softly flicks your forehead. "Ouch!" You respond, rubbing the spot. "I'd like for you to retire as a knight. For once, stop protecting everyone around you, and allow yourself to be protected." He says, his fingers faintly tracing your lips, before reaching for your hand.
"Why? You gonna be my knight in shining armor?" You ask, laughing at his words. "I'll be a sword and shield for you if it needs be, my princess." He kisses the back of your hand, and you dramatically cringe. "Ughhhh yucky!!" You say, but there was nothing but a smile on your face.
"Well, if that's what you say, then I guess I have no choice but to lock you away in a tower like Rapunzel." He says and you smile. "Well then, I guess i'll be waiting for you, Mr. Flynn Rider."
The two of you laugh at the silliness of the conversation, and you couldn't help but feel your body swell with happiness at the peace and love you're receiving from all the people around you. You couldn't help but hope this peace would last. However... unfortunately all fairy tails lose their peace eventually.
