You watched from the visitors observation deck at the pretty sight of Kyoto city, you could see the Nidec Kyoto tower from afar, along with the bright red maple leaves that fell according to its seasons. "Wah! How pretty~!" Tohru sang, as she peeked from over the desk, awing at the colored trees ranging from red to orange to yellow. "So pretty~!"
You walked further away from the rest of the group as you admired the sceneries, your eyes twinkling at the sight of the bright orange trees. Uknowningly, a curious Yuki followed behind you, hoping to catch up yet not wanting to catch the eyes that belonged to the rest of the students.
He watched his own pretty scenery, the way your wind was being pushed back by the subtle breeze, or the way you watched over the deck at the orange trees, your eyes twinkling in admiration, or even the small smile that blessed your face. Yuki smiled to himself, feeling content at the sight of such a pretty person in a pretty place.
You walked away from the dock eventually, and instead towards a red bridge, which held a beautiful sea green river beneath it. If you looked hard enough, you could even see the koi fish that swam within the river. "How long are you planning on following me, Ki-chan~?" You asked, finally looking back at him as Yuki took a moment to realize you had led the both of them away from nosy eyes.
He chuckled to himself, amused that he was caught admiring you as he made his way towards the bridge, as well. You rested your elbows over the bridge, and glued your eyes to the koi fish that swam around. "If I hadn't stopped you, you probably would've followed me to the ends of the earth!" You add, smiling to yourself as Yuki paused beside you, gently bumping his shoulder with yours as he too peered upon the koi fish.
"I don't see a problem with that." He responded, staring at the reflection of the both of you that was seen in the river. The reddish orange maple leaves slowly fell to the ground, a couple flying around in the light breeze around you. Yuki took a moment to catch one, staring at how bright it was, and how soft it felt in his hand.
"You always find the prettiest places to wander off to." He said under his breath, staring at the leaf in his hand. You glanced at him, before reaching out and taking the maple leaf into your own fingers, "you always find the prettiest things to hold onto." You responded, matching his tone as the both of you laughed to yourself at your sudden comment.
He paused for a moment, before taking a hold of your hand for a single second, "I do, don't I?" He asked, catching you off guard before subtly letting go. Before you could respond, you heard your name getting called out. "(Name)-chan!" Tohru called out again, as you glanced behind Yuki at the brunette who approached you with a few sticks of dango in hand.
"Yuki-san, (Name)-chan! Are you hungry?" Tohru asked, handing the both of you a stick of dango each, before she glanced back to make sure Kyo and the rest of her friends were following her. "Tohru-chan! Thank you~" You respond, taking a hold of the dango she offered you, you hummed in delight at the yummy smell of food. "Thank you, Honda-san."
"Guysss, let's get a move on." Uotani spoke up, as she approached you. Uotani Arisa, was Tohru's good friend, and as soon as you had met the two of you clicked, becoming good friends as well. You had also found out that she was the one who liked Kureno... and of course you were more than happy to become friends with someone that would perhaps one day become family.
"We have to go and feed the deers." Hana added, as she peeked out from behind Uotani, her hands full of food. Hanajima Saki, was the last person of Tohru's trio, while you had a rough beginning trying to get to know and befriend her, it was all easy peasy lemon squeezy once you had talked, the two of you had gotten along insanely well.
The six of you began walking to the deer park. While Yuki and Uotani got into a rather serious conversation about why Tohru should never go into politics, Hanajima and Tohru followed whilst making random haikus about the surrounding sceneries, leaving just you and Kyo to follow behind.
A silence fell over the both of you, the two of you were never close enough to converse as friends. You debated bringing up a topic of some sorts, but you didn't want to accidentally irk or anger him. So instead you let out a soft sigh, and kept to yourself.. taking in the peace of the moment.
And eventually you had ended up by the deer park. "We're here! (Name)-chan, we're here!" Tohru excitedly said, as she and Yuki approached the two of you, while Uotani and Hanajima had gone to acquire deer food. "Yes we are!" You excitedly say, following behind Tohru who excitedly ran inside. Due to her rather cute tendencies, it wasn't long until she was surrounded by deers.
"Woah, they're flocking to her as if she's a deer." You mumbled, watching Tohru crouch down to match her height with one of them, allowing Kyo made his way over to her. You watched as another deer hesitantly approached you, crouching to match its height. It hesitated for a moment longer, before slowly moving towards you slowlyZ Yuki smiled at your gentle interaction with the deer, also choosing to crouch down beside you.
"Isn't it adorable?" You ask, gently rubbing under its neck as it nuzzled into your touch. He hummed a response, watching it curiously. "Hey, look here." Uotani called out, as both you and Yuki turned to her, allowing her to capture a rather cute photo with the deer. "Nice pic!" She added, after proudly showing the picture to the both of you.
However she came to a halt when a deer approached her, nuzzling into her elbow. "Oh, what's up?" Uotani asked, turning her attention to the deer. "They're used to human." Hanajima added, noticing the amount of affection the deers gave off to humans. "It's 'cause you feed 'em." Kyo added, sitting on one of the stairs and waiting for all of you to finish.
"Feed them?" Uotani said curiously, an idea popping into her head. She crouched beside Kyo, holding up a packet of deer food and making noises in a way that animals would approach her... however it was not directed towards the deers but instead... towards Kyo. In addition she also made hand motions beckoning Kyo over.
"Oi, I don't really wanna ask, but what are you doing, gangster girl?" Kyo asked, rolling his eyes at her antics. You held back a laugh at their shenanigans and instead turned your attention back to the deer, softly petting it, you smiled at the way it warmly reacted to your touch, "You are such a cutie!"
