The ball progressed as the guests danced to the melodious music. By the throne, the prince, Kyo with his signature scowl, and his royal advisor, Uotani Arisa, yet another friend of Tohru and now yours, stood. "Wipe that disgruntled look off your face. We're having this ball for you. Go find yourself a good catch." The royal advisor said, glancing at the prince who sat on the ground in boredom. "Shut it. I'm not interested."

"This is exactly why you're still a virgin." His advisor mumbled under his breath, as the prince turned bright red at the topic. "What's wrong with you?! Have you no shame?!" The prince yelled, turning away from his advisor in embarrassment. "Go and buy some refinement at the convenience store!" He added yelling at Arisa. You, and the younglings, laugh at the scene, finding Kyo's reaction amusing, or well perhaps Kisa and Hiro were a little too young to understand.

"What?! Here i am worried about you and you give me that attitude?! You go but some good nature!" His advisor yelled, pointing an accusing finger at Kyo. "The prince would not dance despite friendly urging from his fellow advisor." The narrator explained, ignoring the yelling between Kyo and Arisa in the back.

"Prince, will you—" The first woman showed up, wearing a pretty green dressing and asking for a dance. "No." The prince promptly turned her down, not even bothering to spare her a glance. "Prince, please be my partner—" The next lady, wearing an orange dress asked, until she was cut off by her friend. "No, be my partner—" A girl in a blue dress asked, the two fighting amongst themselves for the prince's attention. "No. Dance with someone else."

"Prince, please dance with—" The prettiest lady arrived, her voice soft, as she wore a light pink dress. The prince didn't look back, not even offering her a glance, "I said I won't dance—" The prince snapped, yelling at her as he turned towards her, however as soon as the prince, Kyo, realized it was Tohru, he shut up, freezing on the spot. "Oh, okay. Please excuse me." The step sister said walking away, as Kyo attempted to stop her. "Wai—"

"Needless to say, he curtly refused the stepsister as well. He refused." The narrator said, repeating it once more so it would sink in. "What am I doing?" The prince mumbled to himself, sitting down once more as he sighed in dissappointment. "Don't get all depressed outta character." His advisor told him, offering him some support. "The livelier the ball became, the more downcast the prince became."

"So this is the ball." Cinderella said, entering the ballroom in a full black dress. The crowd stared in astonishiment, for the third time that day, at Cinderella. "After much anticipation, Cinderella arrived." The narrator added, introducing Cinderella. "Wow, she's beautiful!" The stepsister said, looking at her. "Now there's a pretty woman. Ask her for a dance." The advisor said, as the prince offered Cinderalla a look of boredom. "No way!"

"The prince fell in love with Cinderella at first sight and asked her to dance." The narrator said, ignoring the prince's yell in the back. "Why do i have to?!" The prince yelled as the narrator turned away from him before saying, "Because I said so."

Cinderella made her way to the table full of food, "Oh my, there's yakiniku." She said, gleefully. "Oi! Dance with me!" The prince asked, approaching Cinderella, with the most energy you've ever seen hm have. Cinderella scoffed and turned away as the prince let out a sigh of relief. "She refused." He said, running a hand through his hair. "Why do you sound so relieved?" His advisor asked him, as the crowd stared...

"Try again prince!" The narrator encouraged him once more. "You don't know I feel! Don't just say whatever you want!" The prince yelled back, turning away from the narrator. "Shut it! Get your ass back there!" His advisor yelled, shoving him towards Cinderella. The prince sighed in annoyance, as he approached Cinderella once again. "Uh.. oi!" The prince called out to her, she didn't bother to spare him a glance before she said, "I'm busy."

"Did you only come for the yakiniku?" He asked, watching her as she stared at the meat. "Well? What do you want?" Cinderella asked, as the prince let out yet another sigh. "May we... talk?" He asked her, nervously. "Talk? Very well. The wages tonight give the brain a good tingle, don't you think?" She asked, as the prince stared at her dumbfounded. "Please.. pick a topic that makes better conversation."

The clock struck twelve, as the bell echoed throughout the ballroom. "Oh no. I must go home." Cinderella said, as the prince cried out in happiness. Cinderalla offered the prince her glass slipper along with a pair of chopsticks. "There. I handed it over to you." She said, as she walked away from the prince. The prince stared at it again, dumbfounded. "I'm hardly one to talk, but there wasn't a speck of feeling in that."

"Knowing that the spell would break after the clock struck midnight, Cinderalla woefully tore herself away from the prince. She left one of her glass slippers." The narrator explained, the background slowly changing. "Use this as a lead, and go find her." The prince's royal advisor advised him, holding the glass slipper. "Huh? Nah, I don't wanna—" Before the prince could finish his sentance, he was smacked by his advisor with the slipper.

"You're going to let the change to see her again go to waste?!" The advisor yelled, feeling rather passionate about the topic. "Oi!" The prince yelled, rubbing his cheek in pain. "There are people out there who can't see the ones they wish to see!" The advisor, no, Uotani said. "I want to see him. Come see me, dammit!" She yelled, in frustration, as you blinked in surprise, recalling your conversation with Tohru. She must've been the one who had caught Kureno'a eye. "Who're you talking to?"

"Though the urging was tinged with personal feelings, the prince was persuaded by his advisor this time around. That's right. He realized something important. He realized that he longed to see her again!" The narrator rambled on, as Kyo clicked his tongue in annoyance at the situation. "And so the prince traveled around the kingdom making all the young women try on the glass slipper. He believed that whomever the slipper fit just right would be Cinderella. Finally, he arrived at cinderella's home."
