Hey everyone this is chapter 19 do like and comment
Siddharth didn’t remember how he got home.
The moment Kriti said “Leave” with those cold, unfamiliar eyes… something in him broke.
He had stood frozen in the middle of that café, surrounded by whispers and judgmental stares — but none of that mattered.
The Kriti he fought everyone for — had told him to walk away.
He got into his car, locked the door, and just sat there.
A few minutes.
An hour maybe.
He didn’t know.
His phone rang twice — he threw it onto the passenger seat.
The screen lit up with Kriti’s number.
Then disappeared.
He stared.
And blocked it.
Blocked her WhatsApp.
Instagram.
Everywhere.
Then switched off his phone.
Not out of anger.
But because he couldn’t take one more vibration.
One more hope.
One more second of pretending he was okay.
---
Back at home, he entered without a word. His mother called him from the kitchen, but he didn’t respond.
He climbed the stairs slowly, like every step was dragging memories with it.
He entered his room, shut the door, and collapsed on the floor.
Face down. Arms curled around himself.
And for the first time in years, Siddharth cried like a boy who had lost everything.
---
Meanwhile, Shivika was stuffing the last of her notebooks into her bag. The room looked emptier now. Her favorite posters were down, books packed, drawers cleared.
Neha knocked softly on the door. “Aman aaya hai.”
Shivika looked up, heart tight.
She stepped out and saw Aman standing by the gate, hands in his hoodie pocket, trying to smile.
“You’re really going,” he said as she came close.
She nodded, eyes blinking fast.
“Kal ki flight hai?” he asked.
“Haan,” she said. “Morning.”
They sat on the bench outside her house.
For a while, no words came.
Then she turned to him, her voice cracking, “Tu hamesha sabse alag tha, Aman.”
He smiled, still looking ahead. “Aur tu sabse khaas.”
She chuckled lightly. “Tujhse milna meri life ka best accident tha.”
“Tu meri story ka best unsaid dialogue thi,” he said, his voice softer now.
Silence again.
