Thursday morning you woke up and immediately grabbed the bottle of water beside the bed. You wanted to heave, but forcing yourself to drink something that would help seemed like the better option. You waited until you finished the whole bottle while Steve snored softly beside you. You got up and headed to the bathroom with Tibbs in tow while you did your morning ritual in the bathroom. You took the time to do your makeup as well, and used a brush on TIbbs because he loved it. There was no powder, but you pretended there was.
When you came out, you went back to the bedroom and into the closet to pick out a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Regardless of the Loki water, you were still feeling a bit off, and didn't feel like dressing up as much. You added a black blazer as well to jazz it up a little, and so you didn't feel as badly. You grabbed a pair of flats and carried them in one hand, with Tibbs under your other arm and headed out of the suite after giving Steve a soft peck on the lips. He barely stirred.

You logged in early to work and went back to working on next week's mission dockets for everyone, making sure not to leave out any details. The anxiety of trying to get everything done, while also thinking about what you needed to pack was getting to you. Tibbs was behind you curled up in his enclosure with his puzzles and treats. You had Lifehouse playing on the speakers, since you figured no one was coming in anyway. Their song Everything had just started playing when the door opened and you looked up to see Steve in a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants. His hair was wet from a shower, and he smiled at you as he got closer.
"Good morning, dove," he said softly.
"Good morning" you breathed.
"I missed waking up with you" he said, a flash of hurt went across his face.
"I'm sorry baby, I just wanted to get a head start, so that maybe I can leave early today to go pack" you explained yourself. Steve took your hand and pulled you up. As soon as you stood he took your other hand and put it on his waist while he continued holding your right hand, and he started moving to the music. You got lost in the words not being said. You are each other's everything, and that wasn't going to change.
"Go into my head, dove" Steve whispered.
"Are you sure?" you asked, wanting complete consent.
"Please" he nodded. You opened up your mind and closed your eyes, resting your head on his chest. All you could see was you in his mind. From the first meeting, to last night, to the smile you gave him when he walked into the office just now. You heard three words prominently in his mind. "I love you" kept being said a thousand times over, and you felt tears coming to your eyes. You didn't go deeper into his mind, you were looking at only what he wanted you to see. "I love you too," you whispered as a few tears fell. "So much" you added.
"You're my everything" he whispered to you. "That's never going to change."
"You're my everything too" you smiled as he reached up and wiped your tears. "I wish you could see into my head, so you'd know the depth of my love for you."
"I don't need to, I can see it in your eyes" he said softly. You closed up your mind again, and just leaned into him until the song was over. You reached down and hit stop on your computer, and Steve just held you for a few minutes. He wrapped his second arm around you and put his head onto your shoulder, slouching his back a bit. You heard your phone beep with a text message, but ignored it. Then Steve's went off as well. You giggled and Steve pulled back to give you a kiss on the lips that made your toes want to curl. He checked his phone and frowned. You looked at yours and you saw it was a message from Tony, reminding you that there are cameras in the lab. You giggled and stepped away from Steve.
"I think he was expecting more to happen than a dance and a kiss" you said with a laugh.
"I was thinking about it" Steve admitted with a chuckle. You gave him a tap on the chest and he took your fingers and kissed them.
"Are you headed for a work out?" you asked him.
"No, I was in search of my soulmate and found her at her desk again" he quirked a smile.
"Just thinking ahead" you flushed.
"I'll pack your bag, I have the time," Steve told you.
"You don't even know what the weather is going to be" you giggled.
"I do in fact know the weather, and I will plan around it. I have it on my phone. Bucky's not on a mission for the rest of the week, so I'll help him pack too. He's nervous about meeting Emily, even though they talk every day" he chuckled.
"Online and in person are two very different experiences," you reminded him.
"Fair point" he acknowledged.
"And I want to have a dress to go out with," you told him.
"I was thinking of the red one, that has the v-neck, and its sleeveless. Goes a little past your knees" Steve suggested.
"Okay, I can wear that one" you approved.
"And wear that pink one to fly there" he wiggled his eyebrows. "It shows off that baby bump perfectly" he chuckled.
"Well, mom's going to be over the moon" you barked a laugh. "Probably dad too," you admitted.
"Good, I need to be on their good side," he nodded.
"You are literally their dream son in law" you giggled.
"Good, maybe I'll get a yes to a very important question" Steve kissed you softly on the lips.
"Of that I have no doubt" you rubbed your nose against his. "Where are you headed now?" you asked, knowing you should get back to work.

"I was going to see if I could convince you to have a coffee with me" he leaned in again, and kissed the side of your neck.
"Consider me convinced" you turned and picked up Tibbs. Steve took him from you then went to the door and opened it while you grabbed your phone and purse.

You had decaf coffee, while Steve had regular. You were slightly jealous, but you let it slide because it wasn't like he had to give up something just because you had to. Bucky came into the kitchen where you were seated up at the bar, saw that you had the decaf pot in front of you, and Steve had the regular pot in front of him. He swatted Steve upside the head.
"Punk" he murmured and grabbed a mug from the cupboard.
"What did I do?" Steve asked him, looking utterly confused.
"Your mom raised you better" Bucky came over and poured himself a cup of decaf coffee. You giggled at the look on his face when he took a drink. "Tastes like disappointment" he murmured to himself.
"What are you talking about?" Steve asked him.
"The mother of your unborn children has to suffer this slop, so should you" Bucky took a seat beside you. "Good morning" he added with a glint in his eyes.
"I'm sorry, dove" Steve looked apologetic.
"It's okay. Bucky chose to suffer with me" you leaned towards Bucky and nudged him with your shoulder. "You'll make a good husband someday" you murmured to him. You saw jealousy flare in Steve's eyes and he huffed. He got up and chugged the rest of his coffee before he poured himself a cup of decaf and he cringed.
"What else are we giving up?" Steve asked.
"Onions" you giggled.
"I can live with that," he sighed.
"That means no onion rings" Bucky told him and you saw Steve glare.
"I can make a good husband someday too" Steve defended himself.
"You show that in different ways" you corrected him.
"Yeah well..." Steve pouted, drifting off. You leaned into him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you" he gave a small smile. "I'll go brew us another pot of... this" he obviously didn't like the decaf, but he was tolerating it, especially with the way Bucky baited him.
"Thank you baby!" you said in a chipper tone. You reached down onto the counter and turned on your Spotify, and turned on "Slow it down" by Ben Barnes. You sang softly to the lyrics and danced a little in your seat. You saw a text image coming in on your phone from your brother Eric. It was of your little Molly drinking out of his cereal bowl. You giggled, and took a picture of Tibbs that was sitting on the counter in front of you, grooming himself rather intently.
"This is pretty," Bucky commented. "I like it."
"She likes a lot of different music, she has lists for days, and her liked list is over a thousand" Steve smirked. "Music based on mood," he added.
"Well this is going to give you whiplash" you grinned evilly and waited until the song was done before turning on "Bye bye bye" by N'Sync. You did some of the arm movements to the dance and both Bucky and Steve burst out laughing.
"Oh I love this song!" Wanda came into the room in her work out outfit.
"I know, it's so catchy" you smiled.
"How are you feeling, mama?" she asked while grabbing a cup of coffee.
"I'm good, a little hungry though. Looking forward to breakfast" you admitted softly, while biting your bottom lip unsurely. It got to the course of the song, and Wanda started to do the dance and you giggled happily while swaying in your seat.

"Sweetheart, why didn't you say you were hungry? I'll get you some yogurt to munch on" Steve went on autopilot to the fridge and started taking out different things for you to have. He brought back a bowl of berries and yogurt. You hummed happily as he handed you the spoon and you started eating.
"Do you know this dance too?" Bucky asked you as you giggled, still watching Wanda.
"Of course" you admitted easily. "Gotta love some boybands once in a while, besides, its a classic" you said.
"You and I have very different ideas of what is a classic" Bucky shook his head at you.
"I think if she says it's a classic, then it's a classic. We missed out on lots of time, jerk" Steve sassed his best friend.
"Emily likes this song" you said in a singsong voice.
"It's not bad" Bucky said with flushed cheeks and you went back to your morning munchies.
