When you woke up in the morning, you were feeling sick to your stomach. Steve was quick to jump out of bed and go get you a bottle of "Loki" water before bringing it back to you. You drank it quickly and sighed as you started feeling better.
"Are you good, dove?" Steve asked you worriedly.
"Yeah, I almost threw up on our slippers" you frowned, looking down at the side of the bed.
"I wouldn't have minded, dove. I'd gladly wash everything up if I made you feel better" Steve sat on the side of the bed and kissed your temple. "Do you think anyone's awake?" you asked him hesitantly.

"I can hear movement downstairs" Steve cocked his head to the side, listening intently.
"Maybe mom needs help with breakfast" you pulled back the covers but Steve held you down with a slight amount of pressure.

"My little mama needs her rest. You stay here, I'll go downstairs" Steve offered.
"But I like it when you're close" you pouted.
"Alright then, let's go downstairs together," he chuckled.

"Thank you" you got up too quickly and fell back down.
"Dove?!" Steve said, with panic in his voice.
"Don't worry, I just sat up too quickly" you tapped his hand that was holding you. You looked up at his face and it was full of concern.
"You're pale, I don't like it" Steve shook his head. "We should take you to a doctor," he said with finality.
"Im not going to a doctor" you growled.
"Yes, you are" Steve got up and grabbed a pink pastel dress from the closet and a pair of your cotton briefs and a pink bra. You slowly got out of bed and dressed in the clothes he picked out for you, before you put on your tan cowboy boots and he got dressed in a Henley with dark blue jeans. His muscles were easily showcased in the t-shirt itself. You slapped your cheeks, trying to bring more color into them. You had a feeling it was either just exhaustion, or part of being pregnant.

"That's not going to help, dove," Steve sighed.
"I look ten times better already. Come on, I wanna help with breakfast" you said and hurried down the hallway and down the stairs with Steve hot on your heels.

"Good morning" your mom Franny greeted you. Your dad Luke was sitting at the table reading his morning paper. "How did you sleep?" she asked, coming over and touching your forehead.
"I slept pretty good," you smiled. "It was a shock to wake up," you added.
"Come take a seat and have some orange juice" your dad insisted and you went and sat beside him.
"You're a little pale, baby girl," your mom said worriedly.
"She almost fainted upstairs too" Steve updated her while he started doing some of the dirty dishes from your mom cooking.
"I know you're not crazy about going into town, but there's a clinic there. We should go check it out" your mom said, not taking no for an answer.
"Why doesn't she like going into town?" Steve asked.
"Its a small town, and people talk and it's not always kind. Our kids got bullied for being a little different. Her brother Eric has thicker skin than she does, and he'd always laugh it off. Y/N here used to go hide in the library for her lunch breaks and read books far above her age. Thank goodness for Emily, or else Y/N wouldn't have even bothered with her prom. She bribed her with books. She's always been a smart girl" your mom cooed over you.
"Who did you go to prom with?" Steve asked you, excited for more information.
"A boy who thought I'd give up my virginity for a prom date. I left after he made his intentions clear" you shrugged.
"She walked straight home, and it took well over three hours to get here. He didn't even drive her home, I should have whooped his ass" your father piped up as he finished pouring you a glass of orange juice and pushed it towards you.
"What about Eric?" Steve seemed to be soaking in all the information he could.
"He left earlier than she did. She doesn't like going into people's minds without permission. Eric is the opposite. He'd rather know what a person's true intentions are. Matter of fact, he seems to like you a lot" your dad said. "I can't do what they do, but they're honest if I ask them questions," he continued.
"Daddy" you admonished.
"So far I like him too" he finished and you smiled at him.
"Good, because I don't plan on going anywhere" Steve smirked while washing a dishpan.
"Emily is coming back for the day, she's bringing an overnight bag and sleeping on the couch. I don't know who she's kidding, but alright. She should be here soon, then Bucky will be busy. Eric will be tending to the animals, and the four of us are going into town" your mom decided.
"Mama, I don't wanna go" you pouted.
"Well that's too bad. You're pale, and you are running a small fever. With those triplets, you need to keep a close eye on your health" she said. "We can stop at your favorite coffee shop, and I'll even spring for a new book."

"I already have so many books" you flushed, giving in easily.
"Yes, but there's new releases all the time," she giggled a bit. Steve finished with his task and came over and kissed the top of your head. Libby, Molly, and Tibbs were scratching at the back door so he went over and let them out before taking a seat beside you.
"We will of course have a vet come and give all the puppies their needles so you can bring Miss Libby and Molly home with you at the same time" your mom said and Steve flushed.
"As long as I can pay ma'am" Steve said a little bashfully.
"I have dual citizenship. My healthcare is free" you advised with a smile.
"We should have that back home" Steve murmured to himself.
"We kind of do, in the compound, but then again, I think Tony pays for it all" you admitted.
"He does, he likes to make sure his team mates and employees are taken care of" Steve confirmed.
"See mama, nothing to worry about" you smiled at her hopefully.
"One little doctor visit isn't going to kill you. Now, Luke, go call your son in and we will have a quick breakfast before heading out," your mom instructed, and Steve got up to go wake Bucky up as well so he wouldn't miss his meal.

Breakfast was good, you missed the kind of meals your mom would make for you. She hinted on the drive to town that she would pick up a few family sized poutines, and then some donairs for supper as well. You squealed in delight sitting in the back seat with Steve who was just holding your hand, and running his thumb up and down your knuckles in a loving gesture. You knew you told him it was going to be a dry weekend, but you were starting to regret that decision. Just as you thought it, your mom cleared her throat and you flushed.

You arrived at the medical clinic that looked the same as it always did. You filled out the form, advising them that you were in fact pregnant, and of your different ailments you've had. When it asked for someone to contact, you put Steve down instead of your parents for a change. Steve saw it and puffed out his chest with pride. You gave them back the clipboard and pen you had borrowed, and sat back down in the uncomfortable chair and leaned over towards him.
When you were called in Steve went to follow you, when your dad pulled him back, and you went in with your mom. The doctor was the same one that was there for your birth and your family doctor growing up. He was kind, and a bit older. You knew he should have retired by now, but he always seemed to like helping people as much as possible. He took a few blood samples and sent them to the lab on a lower floor to be looked at just in case. He said he wanted to check on the babies, so you laid back and he pulled up your dress and started looking at the screen while using the wand on your stomach. He chuckled and shook his head.
"I don't know why you put thirteen weeks. You're 16 weeks pregnant. Your math is a little off" he explained.
"Mama, can you get daddy and Steve please?" you asked her softly.
"Sure thing honey" your mom left the room briefly when Steve and your dad walked back in with your mom. Steve came right to your side, his eyes glistening while looking at the screen and he gave you a soft kiss on the lips.
"Look at what we made, dove?" he said in reverence.
"The doctor says we are sixteen weeks" you tell him and he starts doing the math.

"That doesn't make sense, you're thirteen weeks" he says after a moment.

Not with that belly and the way they've formed already" the doctor said. "It could be something to do with the super serum in your body if she's accelerated, but I would have to do a lot of tests" the doctor says, giving you both an apologetic look.
"We will get Doctor Cho back home to check her over, and do the tests. That way we can keep it quiet, just in case" Steve decided. "Is that okay with you, dove?" he asked you. You nodded and you licked your lips.
"Can we get lots of pictures?" you asked hopefully. "If we can get one of the three at the same time for just a few people we want to share this with" you said.
"No problem, I know you and your family are close" the doctor said with a smile. You watched as he maneuvered the wand and took several snapshots for you. You waited for him to take the transmission gel off, and then you pulled down your dress. Steve took out his swiss army knife and used the scissors to cut all the pictures into small little rectangles, a photo each. He handed one to your mom, and then your dad before putting one in his wallet and handing you the rest to put in your purse. You smiled happily and got off the bed and wrapped your arms around Steve and he kissed your forehead lovingly.
"You two are going to make great parents" your mom seemed happy.
"I can't believe I'm going to be a grandpa" your dad said, kissing her cheek.
