When you and Steve woke up, you had Libby, Tibbs, and Molly taking up half the bed, while the two of you were cuddled up on the edge of the bed. You were nauseated, and wanted to vomit. Steve hurried to grab you a bottle of Loki's water and he brought it back to you, breaking the seal and bringing it to your lips. You drank it quickly and the nausea dissipated. You finished the bottle with Steve still holding it, and pulled back to take a gasp of air.
"Oh, that was needed," you said, holding your stomach.
"It's okay dove, you'll be okay" Steve said more for his own benefit than your own.
"Yes, I'm fine, love" you sighed, and got out of bed. You saw that the bit of activity woke up the three fur babies and you couldn't help but giggle at the look on Tibbs' face. He looked so confused, and was looking between the two of you. Molly stretched and headed towards you and you picked her up for a snuggle.
"How about you go take a nice hot shower, and I'll get us packed up" Steve suggested.
"I asked mom yesterday, she said I could have the maternity dresses as long as I took care of them" you told him. "And a hot shower does sound lovely, thank you" you went over and kissed Steve's cheek. He grinned and kissed you softly on the lips. "One small suggestion, I'll take out Libby first" you said.
"I've got Libby, you just worry about taking care of your body and our little ones" Steve brushed his thumb over your bottom lip and smirked at you. You playfully bit the end of his thumb, then kissed it better. He leaned in and kissed you on the lips again. "You go ahead" he winked and you went to the drawers to get out a clean pair of panties, bra, and then took down the soft green dress that went to your knees and had little sunflowers as a print on them.
"I'll be out shortly" you said as you made your way down the hall to the bathroom.
Steve waited until he heard the door close before he headed downstairs carrying Libby under one arm. Tibbs followed him, seeming a little lost since you had brought Molly with you. He headed outside to see Eric and Luke letting all of the animals out of the barn, and leaving the door open. He set Libby down on her four good paws and she bolted towards her siblings to play, squatting once to take a quick pee.

"You might as well bring two," Eric teased.
"Don't say that in front of your sister," Steve laughed, although he was tempted. But he also knew he might be pushing it by bringing a dog to the compound as well. In the other buildings some people had small dogs, and there was someone designated to pick up the dog poop on the grounds while also making sure the lawns were perfectly manicured, and the gardens always looked beautiful. Eric barked a laugh in response and clapped Steve on the back as he got closer to him.
"You're alright," Eric said with joy. "I can't wait to see the engagement photos. I know you've got it all planned out, but she'd be just as happy if you proposed in the hay loft too" he suggested.
"No, she deserves all the romance in the world, I want it special" Steve shook his head. "I've got the perfect place in mind," he added.
"Yeah, I know. I haven't seen it in person, but what you've got in mind is a pretty damn good idea too," he replied.
"Alright boys, we gotta feed the family" Luke came over. "And since you're about to be my son in law, I'll show you the ropes."
"Me?" Steve asked in surprise, thinking of you upstairs in the shower and wishing he could be with you instead. A little work sounded good too, it was secondary on his list. Eric grimaced as Steve had thought about you, but chose not to say anything. "Thank you" Steve gave a broad smile. "I'd love to help," he said.
"Eric, show him where all the feed is, and I'll put out the bowls for the smaller ones in the barn" Luke headed back to the barn, and Eric led the way to a shed close by. He opened the door and showed several bags of feed, but Steve could tell they were going to run out quickly. The family obviously needed a bigger shed for all the food. Maybe even a food allowance.
"Don't even think about it. You've done enough, we get by" Eric said softly. He started pulling out kitten food, cat food, and dog food bags. He then added some of the vegetables that were there for treats. Steve was carrying all the bags, and his arms were full.
"It's just an observation" Steve flushed.
"We always get by, especially after what you guys did for us," Eric said. "Knowing you paid over seventy percent of what the farm needed, we owe you a lot. You helped save the farm and homestead. We were about to claim bankruptcy. Funny thing is, we were more worried about finding homes for the animals" he told him, giving Steve a small inside look as to how dire things had been. "Y/N sent a lot of money home, but it always went towards the animals, food for the table, and the second mortgage we put on the house. Now we are debt free, and we are making a profit, so don't worry about us," Eric said as he led the way back to the barn. Eric and Luke helped point out who's dishes got filled with what, and then started breaking the treats for everyone.
"You'll have to try to take a weekend this fall and come and see us" Luke told Steve as he did as instructed. "There's apple picking for you two, and of course Bucky and Emily"
"Won't you be there?" Steve seemed confused.
"That's harvest season. Franny stays here at the house and takes care of the animals, but the two of us are out in the fields most of the day, and into the night. We hire extra hands for that, this year we can probably hire a few extra thanks to someone's generosity" Luke's eyes twinkled as he looked at Steve.
"It wasn't just me," Steve said after putting all the bags down finally.
"We know, but Y/N doesn't. As long as she trusts you, she'll never know either" Luke told him. "Franny told me. Thank you, son" he said softly.
"You're welcome" Steve said, flushing a bit. He hoped to maintain your trust, and that's exactly what he planned to do. Luke and Eric started taking him on the rounds, getting fresh hay and oats etc where needed. Before they knew it, it was breakfast time. The three men made their way into the house with Libby and Tibbs on their heels.

"Thank you again for the dresses mom" you said after you had finished breakfast. You had taken the time to pack while Steve was outside helping, making sure to also write a list of what you needed once you got home to the compound. Libby was going to need a few things, as did Molly.
"Oh it's no trouble. It saves you from having to go buy some for a few weeks at least" Franny shrugged it off.
"I'm so sad you're leaving so fast" Emily pouted, and Bucky reached out and held her hand.
"Once you get your passport doll, I'll pay for you to come see me" he assured her.
"It's already in the works" Emily squeezed his hand. You noticed another hickey on her, but decided not to mention it. It is clear they are smitten for one another, and that's all you needed to know.
"And we still expect you at Christmas," your mom reminded you.
"We will be here," Steve said reassuringly. "We wouldn't miss it."
"I imagine the compound will be so empty" you sighed softly, thinking of your friends.
"The only ones around usually are Tony, Pepper, Bucky and I" Steve gave a half smile.
"Well you can bring them too" Luke beamed.
"Thank you daddy" you grinned ear to ear.
"Anything to have the family together, princess" your dad smiled back.
"I'll give up my room if you have more people coming, and take the couch" Eric offered and you giggled.
"No one wants to be near where you keep your dirty laundry," you teased.
"Ha ha, very funny. Little shit" Eric chuckled. Franny gave him a small slap upside the head for saying shit. "Sorry ma, but she is" he smirked.
"You can use that language outside, but not inside the house" your mom told him.
"Yes ma'am" he said, a little contrite.
"Are you all packed, Bucky?" Steve asked him.
"Yes, are you?" he asked in response. Steve blanched for a moment.
"Yes, we are packed" you answered for him. "We just need to stop by the co-op, and feed store before heading back to the jet."
"Whats at the feed store?" Steve looked confused.
"Miss Libby needs a collar, leash, and dishes. We will have to figure out toys when we get home" you told him.
"Makes sense" Steve gave in quickly. "Where's the bags?" he asked.
"Still upstairs, I didn't want you to get your boxers in a twist if I brought it down myself" you giggled.
"That's my girl," Steve said approvingly. "I'll go grab it and we better hit the road."

The goodbye was long and drawn out, and not without tears. Your parents both hugged Steve and Bucky while Eric shook their hands. Emily gave hugs to everyone, and cried when she had to say goodbye to Bucky. He kissed her softly and promised her the word "soon". You had tears in your eyes, but you waited until you got back into the car to head home.
Steve listened to your directions to get to the co-op and feed store since they were beside each other. You ran in and grabbed the cheese curds the boys wanted, and picked up three large bags, knowing you were good for it. Steve picked out a pink collar and leash for Libby, and a small purple harness and leash for Molly since they were out of cat carriers. They each got new dishes, and the boys met you back in the car. You got another strawberry lemonade before leaving town and heading to the airport. Leaving was such a sweet sorrow. You didn't want to live here, but you somehow wished that your parents were closer to where you were right now at the compound. But even then, you were far from the border, and maybe then you would have stayed since it would have been closer to a city. You likely wouldn't have left Canada in the first place if that was the case.
Steve and Bucky filled up the jet with everything and you brought the pets on board before Steve came and strapped you in. You had Molly, Tibbs, and Libby fighting for your lap, in the unfamiliar surroundings. Molly just ended up jumping onto your shoulders, leaving the fight up to the other two.
