The crowd clapped as i waved at them.
"Your the Prom Queen for sure"
James said as i blushed and shook my head.
"Never know"
I said as he smiled. As i walked around with James, some people greeted me Happy Birthday as i smiled and thanked them.

Then i met up with the gang.
"Awe you 2 look so cute together."
"Thanks anyways, picture time!!!!"
I said as they smiled. The girls dragged me to the photo booth.
"Ok couples first!"
The photographer said as me and James faced the camera and smiled.

After so many pictures, we decided to dance. I dragged the girls to an open space. We danced our heads off. The song was Joke Is On You by Niki Watkins. We laughed and danced. The guys did too making me smile.

We danced to many songs until the music stopped. Everyone booed. Then I saw Bethany walk out of the crowd towards us.
"Well well well, if it isn't the Prom Peasant"
She said as Everyone booed at her. I shut everyone up by putting my hand up.
"Come on Bethany, just leave me alone and let everyone have their fun, its our first prom so don't ruin it"
I said as she snickered.
"Dont tell me what to do! Everyone here wasn't having fun cause your here"
She snapped as James held my hand.
"Bethany, how many votes do you have for Prom Queen?"
James smirked as i looked at him.
"Sarah give me the paper!!"
She yelled as her friend handed her the Prom Queen Paper with the votes.
"20"
She smirked as James chuckled and so did everyone.
"Principal Miller! Who's the Prom Queen for 2020?"
The principal stepped up and held up her microphone.
"Bethany has 20 votes for Prom Queen...but the highest number of votes is 37 which is...."
Everyone yelled out my name.
"Eunice Dormitorio, for the class of 2020!"
Everyone cheered and clapped. Then a teacher walked over to me and gave me a crown and a sash saying 'Prom Queen 2020'. Then she gave me a bouquet of roses. Everyone cheered and clapped as i smiled and waved.
"Thank you so much!"
I said as James kissed my cheek. Jack walked over to me and held my roses. I thanked him then i heard Bethany scream.
"Why'd did you blind assholes pick that peasant?!?!?"
"Shut Up you peasant!"
Someone yelled at Bethany as everyone booed at her.
"She scoffed and stomped her way to me until James, Ryan and Zack got in her way.
"Get out of my way!"
"Sorry, peasant, but the queen doesn't want to talk to you. Now...good day!"
James said as everyone laughed. James pointed at the door for her to exit. Bethany growled and stomped out of the gym crying.

"Now everyone, its time for the slow dance, pick your dates!"
James looked at me and put his hand out. I took it as he pulled me close to him. I looked at him as i wrapped my hands around the back of his neck. Our foreheads touched making me smile. The song Kissing You by Miranda Cosgrove was on.
