Power of family

No one ever can express the true pain of death. Its not what people even think. Death wasn't common in our family. Well a family of immortals it was rare unless or was a young or killed in war. So again rare.

"Kay are you ready." Ty said walking in
"Mhm" I whisphered
We lost Valen. He took a hit from a silver  blade. It was bad, valen was amazing guy.

Funeral
"Kay can you say something. You grew up with valen." Dad said.

"Valen was a sweet caring guy. I knew him for most of my life. Always by my side and made everyone smile. He was the type of guy to get anyone to talk. I never thought I would lose valen. Valen ray osborne, I love you. He was like a brother to me. I'm truly upset for his death."  I said as the warm tears shed from my eyes
"Thank you." Dad mumbled.

Once we barried valen we went home. And I sat in my room looking at pictures of us. And he wrote on my chalkboard
Kaylee your a dorky little sister but j loveyour
I miss him.. My brother. The one who kept me from trouble..

"Can I come in." Nicole said wimpering
"Yes." I said grabbing her.

We sat there crying for an hour. We talked about him. Kayden and kyle came in too. We truely missed him..

About 1 year later.

Death was still among the family, we lost one of ambers kids and there was an illness going around making us weaker. We where unawere of what's going on..

"Kay, I love you" ty said throwing my keys to the jeep
"Haha I love you?" I looked at the time.. Shit was late for dance.. Fuck me now. I walked out the door and saw dad and told him were I was going and I was beyond late for dance.

Back home

I walked in the door, and everyone was gone, there was a note on the table

Kaylee:
Hey bunny we went out to dinner dad burnt the stakes. So find whatever or go get something you want.
-Mom
I just thought to my self and went to a quicky(fast food place)
I went in and got what I wanted and I stop and got coffee and than went home.
This was becoming normal.. Well to me.
I went home and sat in my room at desk I had homework and books to read but I could careless right now.

"Were are home" one of the kids yelled.

Next morning (Monday September 2, 1990)

I wake up and put on my light blue sweater and jean shorts and convers put my hair in a crazy bun and I went down stairs.

"Morning kay, dad is driving us to school today." Kayden told me and mom slid a plate in front of me

"Sweet. But I have to leave early for cheer." I told her..

(FYI it is true we do look one age and vampire and immortals rarely change appearances.)

"Okay could I caught a ride with you. " she ask
"Yea. Morning detention?" I ask laughing
"Shut up..but yes." She said giggling
"Okay. Mom tell dad we left?" I look at mom
"Sure hunny" she said as I grabbed my keys.

As we left I noticed I forgot my bag so I made kayden run in and get it.
As I sat there I noticed I had a note in my viser

It read
Kaylee,
When ever you see this smile. I love you a lot. Your the best little sister.
Valen
Knowing valen wrote that 3 years ago I noticed I started to cry.
