## Papyrus POV - Several Days Later
I watched from a concealed position as Frisk made her way through Hotland, maintaining her perfect act of kindness and mercy with every monster she encountered. The heat didn't seem to bother her—nothing seemed to genuinely affect her anymore. Even during Mettaton's elaborate show, she'd played along flawlessly, managing to boost his ratings to exactly 10,000 to end the battle peacefully without any violence.
*(She knew exactly what to do with Mettaton too,)* I observed through the mind link as we monitored her progress. *(She shot at his heart with Alphys's phone upgrade at just the right moments. Like she'd done it before.)*
*(Because she HAS done it before,)* Sans replied grimly. *(Multiple times, probably. This is all just a script to her now.)*
Now I was watching her approach Alphys's lab, Undyne's letter clutched in her hands. The kid had been so careful, so methodical in her journey here. Every interaction calculated, every response perfectly calibrated to maintain her facade of innocent curiosity.
Frisk slipped the letter under the door of Alphys's lab and waited patiently outside. Within moments, I heard shuffling from inside, then the door cracked open slightly.
"Oh! Oh my! A... a letter?" Alphys's voice was muffled through the door. "I... I wasn't expecting..."
When Alphys finally emerged, clutching the envelope with trembling claws, I could see her reading Undyne's signature. Her face immediately turned red with embarrassment and excitement.
"Oh! Oh my! This... this is from Undyne!" Alphys stammered, looking between the letter and Frisk. "She... she wants to... oh no, oh no, I can't possibly... but maybe..."
Frisk maintained that practiced innocent smile, clearly knowing exactly what was in the letter and how Alphys would react. The kid was positioning herself as Alphys's support system for what was clearly meant to be a private moment between Alphys and Undyne.
*(She's insertin’ herself into what should be a private romantic moment,)* Mincho noted with disgust through the mind link. *(Undyne wrote that letter fer alphys, ain’t fer some human kiddo ta play matchmaker.)*
*(And Alphys is so nervous about the whole thing that she's latching onto Frisk for moral support,)* I added, watching as the scientist practically begged Frisk to accompany her. *(The kid is exploiting her social anxiety to make herself seem necessary.)*
From our father's observations through the crystal cranes, we'd been instructed to let this play out. He needed to see where Frisk's manipulations were leading, what her endgame truly was. But watching this innocent monster being deceived so thoroughly made my nonexistent stomach churn.
## Mincho POV
What followed was Alphys's nervous journey to meet Undyne, with Frisk tagging along as unwanted moral support. I shadowed them at a safe distance, using my skills to remain undetected. The kid was playing the part of an encouraging friend perfectly, offering reassurance and advice about Alphys's anxieties regarding her feelings for Undyne.
"I... I don't know what to say to her," Alphys fretted as they walked toward the Garbage Dump, the location mentioned in Undyne's letter. "What if she doesn't really mean it? What if I mess this up?"
"I'm sure everything will work out fine!" Frisk replied with that sickeningly sweet enthusiasm. "Undyne cares about you a lot. Anyone can see that!"
*(She's positionin’ herself as the supportive pal who helped their relationship along,)* I reported to my brothers. *(Makin’ herself seem essential ta their happiness together.)*
