V, now outside of the shed, stood in the freezing cold. The snow was not as effective as she hoped, but it got the job somewhat done. The black-blueish blood and pieces of slug-like worms stuck to her armor plates tightly. She grabbed a handful of snow and rubbed it up and down her left stilt-like leg. It only got worse... she had now smeared it all over the surface of her leg, albeit thinned out. it wasn't as visible as before, but still...  better than being completely covered in... slugs... or worms... or whatever the heck those creatures were. She straightened her posture and stretched, then looked over her shoulder back at the shed. Something didn't sit right with her, what was N still doing inside?

"N?! Come on! We have to go!" she yelled at the shed, then listened attentively for an answer.

"Sure!, Just give me a moment!" The male yelled back.

V exhaled audibly and a small smile formed on her face. Not long now, maybe he was still gathering some belongings he wanted to bring back to the spire. Then finally, after a whole five more minutes N slid through the crack in the large shed door and closed it with little effort behind him. He was a robot after all. "What took you so long?" She asked, crossing her arms.

"I just picked up this fancy journal about past times from... I believe the commander of this eng-WOAH!" Whilst explaining N had tripped over a thick wooden sleeper, connecting the two steel rails and fell forward into V. He squeezed his digital eyes firmly shut and held both arms straight forward, waiting for the hard cold ground.

Instead he felt something squishy and soft?, Which he dragged down to the ground with him. V, completely in shock quickly scanned their surroundings, sweat drops displayed on her visor, before addressing the matter at hand. Quiet literally. "N?" She asked calmly. VERY calmly. So calm in fact, N immediately knew he'd messed up. "Y-Yes V?" he opened his eyes and looked up. His head was laying on V's abdomen and his right hand, the one not occupied by a book, well...

"Oh... OH MY- ROBO-JESUS! I AM SO SORRY V! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!" In an attempt to ease the mood he'd gotten onto his knees and pleaded for forgiveness. "Tsk." Was the only thing he heard, followed by ruffling of snow. "I'll remember this N." she said coldly and turned away.

'WHAT THE ACTUAL F***! DID HE REALLY JUST? ' V's slim hand moved up her body and then touched her left Gel-Pad. 'Oh man...' she checked on her internal diagnostics system and noticed the main circulation pump having an unusal high amount of RPM. This affected her other systems as they were now being overflooded with hydraulic fluid, forcing everything else to act quicker. 'A deep breath. Ok. Now, SLOWLY move my hand back down... ok.' She tried to compose herself, but it was pointless. A large digital blush had covered her entire visor.

"Uhm... V? Are you o-" before he could say anything more she had pierced his chest and torn out N's electrical drive. Instantly he shut down and flopped to the ground. Seconds later he was back on his feet. "... OUCH!" The male exclaimed in pain as he rubbed the spot which had already been covered up again. Then he looked at V, who had... quiet the expression on her visor.

Very wide, hollowed eyes, with a small crazed smile, holding onto N's previous electrical drive with her right claw hand. "So you're not ok... well..." N kicked a small snow poff and then grabbed her left hand (which was normal). "V, I am sorry. Really. ... I know what I did was not ok, so I hope you are able to forgive me. Please." The hollow eyes darted over to his visor and quickly checked him out. Then suddenly she snapped out of her trance. "W... What happened?" She fixed her eyes onto the component she held in her claw before realizing it was N's.

"N! Are you ok?!" The same hollow and wide eyes returned, but this time they had a sense of affection in them. Whilst completely in affectionate mode, she subconsciously swappedto her normal hand and then covered her coworkers hands in hers. The Posture lasted for a staggering 2 seconds before she pushed him away in 'disgust' "I-I mean... yeah obviously you are alright. You are a disassembly drone like me. So why wouldn't you be."

"But my chest still hurts a little." In an instant a million thoughts scrambled her mind and left her startled. "I-uh... well... argh! Suck it up N. You're supposed to be a soldier. Just like me." She shook her head at the thought of caressing the place where her claw had pierced his armor plating, yet a small blush formed on her visor, which N noticed, but he didn't say anything. "... Didn't you want to return to the group?" He asked her sheepishly.

"OH FOR F****SAKE, HOW'D I FORGET!? C'MON SYNERGISTIC LIABILITY!" She grabbed him by his collar and expaded her wings. Then with a thundering boom they took to the skies, N being dragged along and surprised by V's way of suddenly throwing insults. Did she really mean it? Or was it just in the heat of the moment? Probably the latter. Hopefully... Maybe?

"BRACE FOR IMPACT MORON!" He heard her yell before crashing into the hard and cold steel walkway that the other group had gotten on. They were examining the large sinkhole just below. "So you're back... welcome." H greeted them before turning his attention back to a blinking red light down near the bottom of the pit. It looked like a marker of some sort.

"I say... someone checks out that light down there." He pointed into the darkness and the others gathered near him to see  where exactly he was looking. Then out of nowhere V's left Pad brushed N's shoulder, which again caused her system to scramble. "GO FOR IT, STUD!" V yelled as she picked the poor male up and threw him down the hole toward the blinking red light. J chuckled wholeheartedly and a tear of joy rolled down her cheek as she watched N disappear into the darkness.

"WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUU-"
