"Shubman!" Misha's familiar voice said, followed by a sound of heels clicking on the ground.

No! No! No!

Shubman didn't react or answer to her call, and continued caressing Zoro's head with his left hand. His right arm stayed wrapped around me, emanating a sense of calm in this nerve wracking situation.

"Is your itching gone, Bubba?" He asked, looking at Zoro.

Zoro barked in response, wagging his tail in elation. He then hopped off from me, and jumped on Shubman, placing his front paws of Shubman's abdomen.

Shubman heaved a chuckle while extending his hand to ruffle Zoro's head.

"That's because I gave you a bath, Gadhe. Naha liya kar, nahi hogi khujli." He said, making Zoro bark in protest.

That ain't happening.

Since, Shubman decided to not respond to Misha, everyone else chose to do the same. Ishan and Jason continued talking to Addy while Abhishek, Prisha and Sonakshi were busy watching GD fight our trolley's devilish wheel.

Just like everyone else, I chose to do the same. Even though I was losing my mind and could hear the sound of Misha's footsteps getting louder, I continued looking at Zoro with a smile.

"I think we should still get him checked for ticks once." He said, looking at me.

I turned to look at his gorgeous face and nodded, a tiny smile bedecking my lips.

I was trying my best to go with the flow and not showcase my anxiety in public, but unfortunately, the trepidation was getting the worst of me. The nervous feeling accompanied by the erratically beating heart was restricting me from smiling genuinely.

What if someone clicks our picture?

Shubman gaze wandered across my face, then halted at my trepidation ridden eyes. The very next second, he leaned forward and placed a gentle peck on my left cheek.

"Although, I'm pretty sure everything's fine." He mumbled, sprucely using his statement as an entendre for both Zoro and I.

"Mere saamne aur PDA kiya toh mai ulti kar dunga." Ishan said, in a muffled voice

(If you continue to do PDA infront me, I'll puke.)

Shubman and I heaved a chuckle, our gaze locked with eachother. A lustre of amusement flickering in them due to Ishan's hilarious reaction.

"I think we should make him puke." Shubman said, in a hushed voice, making me heave another chuckle.

"Definitely." I mumbled, adding to his wit.

For a moment, I had forgotten about the approaching imminence. I was so engrossed in the moment that I couldn't help but smile like a carefree idiot.

I don't really think that I can describe how important this human is to me. His ability to help me forget all my apprehension is something that I admire a lot.
