Hey, guys! ♥️

This chapter ended up being way too long to be posted as one. So, I decided to divide it into two.

The second part will be posted on 17th October i.e. the day after tomorrow OR as soon as both the targets (votes and comments) are achieved.

Happy reading! ♥️

"How can someone lack self respect so badly?" Prisha asked, looking at Misha and Riddhi with an extremely disgusted expression.

I have no idea.

"One can't lack something they never had. By this moment, you should know that those words don't exist in their dictionaries." Jason said, holding back an over-enthusiastic Zoro.

"I know, but it's still very embarrassing." Prisha said, annoyed.

"Tell me about it. We've been dealing with them for years." Jason said, picking up Zoro in his arms. "Don't worry, nothing they do will change their abode. Tumhare aadmiyon ko waise bhi tumhare alawa koi nahi dikhta." He added, making Prisha heave a chuckle.

(Your men don't see anyone other than you anyways.)

They may not change anything significant, but they'll definitely change the paradigm of my peace.

While Jason and Prisha were busy talking about Riddhi and Misha's caper, my gaze started wandering around the ground to look for Shubman.

In the midst of doing so, I noticed a few camera-men capturing the training sessions of both the teams. Even though I didn't want to panic, the moment I saw those cameras, a weird sense of anxiety started taking over my frail mind. As if Misha's appearance yesterday wasn't dismaying enough that now she's back infront of the cameras, exhibiting the theatrics she's known for.

I need to see him, right now.

My panic-stricken gaze began wandering around the field once again, accompanied by an unexplainable rush of urgency.

Luckily, I found Shubman standing near the batting net a few seconds later, a stretching band hanging over his right forearm. Coincidentally, he was looking right in our direction.

As soon as he saw me looking at him, a beautiful smile emerged on his lips. A smile that somehow emanated a sense of calmness in me as well. He started waving his right hand at me, causing a tiny smile to appear on my lips.
