"Catch it! Catch it!" I exclaimed, watching the ball go way too high for a boundary, and heading right towards Ishan.
"YAYYY!" We screamed happily as he caught the ball, leading Sikandar - Zimbabwe's captain to walk back towards the dugout.
"Wow! That was so good!" Sonakshi exclaimed in an excited voice.
"It surely is. I guess, I was just too ignorant." Sonakshi said, with a chuckle.
"No worries! You're one of us now. Welcome to the ICTpaglu club!" I said, making her heave a chuckle.
"You should join us more oft-"
Before I could finish my sentence, a loud cheer erupted in the stadium, causing all of us to turn back with a jolt.
After a moment of looking, we realised that Ishan had just stumped another player, helping us grab another wicket.
"Oh my, God! That was quick!" I exclaimed, astonished, looking at the review being displayed on the huge screen.
"Damn! Someone's on fire today." Jason said, with a grin, his voice utterly impressed.
"They challenged eachother for the Man of the match trophy." Prisha said, heaving a chuckle.
"Sounds just like them." I replied, shaking my head in amusement, an amused smile lacing my lips.
Maybe, that's exactly what Ishan needs at the moment. He has been trying his best to hide his sadness about the entire Sonakshi-Advait thing, but we've known him for way too long to not figure out his actual feelings.
Since, we can't really do anything about the Sonakshi situation, a good performance is exactly what he needs to uplift his mood.
"You guys are always pulling eachother's legs, aren't you?" Sonakshi asked, sounding amused, her gaze following the ball around the ground.
