I sat in the back seat, Korosu on my lap, as my mother drove back to our old house. Korosu got along with everybody, and I'm sure my mom loves her. Once we got home, Korosu and I climbed out of the van. I led her inside, and she seemed pretty shy once we got in. Her moods do change a lot, but I'm okay with that. I walked with her into the kitchen, since I'm the one who usually cooks after his games. Korosu clung to my arm in a cute way, looking up at me. "You're just adorable Korosu." She giggled, smiling. "Thanks ash." "No problem, now what to cook..." she let go, and stood next to me. I thought for a minute, then smiled. Picking Korosu up, I set her on the counter. She giggled as I got out spaghetti noodles and sauce. "Pasta!" I moved my eyebrows around, causing Korosu to laugh quietly. Her voice glitched a bit, and she stopped. After looking around to see if anybody heard, she turned back to me. Korosu got off the counter, and started helping me cook. We were both humming something, at least until my mom came in with a large binder. No!

Ash's mother walked in, holding what I believe is a photo album. I was a bit curious as to what was going on, until she came up to me and grabbed my hand. "Come on! I have some pictures to show you of Ashton!" Giggling, I looked back at ash. "I won't look." He jokingly flipped me off, and I laughed quietly. His mother was already dragging me out of the kitchen, sitting down on a couch in the living room. I sat next to her, and she opened the photo album. She pointed each picture out, explaining each one. Man he was adorable. A smile spread across my face, thinking of young Ashton. After a couple minutes, his mother shut the binder. "Well, that's all. Unless you'd like me to get a different one out!" "No!" Ash called from the kitchen, a giggle escaping my lips. "Oh, that's okay miss Irwin." She nodded as ash came out of the kitchen. "Come on, let's all eat." I stood up, then walked into the same room he was in. Wrapping my arms around him, I whispered into his ear. "It's alright ash. To be honest, you looked pretty cute." He smiled, picking up some plates. Ash smirked, and dragged me across the room. I giggled a bit, letting go of him. We both set up the table, his family walking in. Everybody sat down, and we all are with each other. Ash's family is amazing, they don't argue or fight from what I've seen. After dinner I helped ash with dishes and such, humming "I'm not a vampire" as I worked. He pulled me down to the basement once everything was taken care of, leading me over to a chair with a small television a few feet away from it. Ash sat down, patting his lap. "Sit." I smiled, sitting down on his lap. "You're pretty light." Looking in his eyes, small laughs emitted from my mouth. "I'm a spirit, I don't expect to weigh very much." We both smiled, and ash tapped my thigh. "I gotta get up for I minute." Standing, I let Ash sit up and walk over to a mini fridge against the wall. "Want a beer?" "Sure." He came back, pulling me onto his lap. Ash handed me a can of beer, popping his open. We drank and watched The Golden Girls for a while until he started falling asleep. I took the empty can out of his hand, and set them down on the floor next to us. He was asleep by the time I lay back down, slightly snoring. I leaned against his chest, falling asleep after a few minutes.

Around four am, I woke up to Korosu on my lap. Our hair was messy, and we both smelled of beer. My shirt had pasta sauce and drool on it, earning a giggle from me. I was careful not to wake her up, then looked down at Korosu. She was cringing in her sleep, lightly shaking her head. What's going on? All I heard was mutters escaping her lips, mainly saying "stop". Maybe she's having a nightmare. Should I wake her up? I decided against it, watching her closely. Korosu's hand was twitching slightly as her cringing got worse. "Stop......no...please...just stop." She was quietly muttering, but I managed to make out those words. Worry filled me, as I was scared of what she was dreaming. That's it. I need to know what's going on. Lightly, I shook her shoulder, whispering. "Hey. W-wake up." She woke up, yet seemed frightened by something. Korosu had taken out her contacts, so her eyes were bright red. "Is everything okay?" She hugged me tightly, not answering my question. What's going on? I wrapped my arms around her as she breathed heavily. Her long hair lay on her back, rising and falling with her chest. Korosu was shaking her head, muttering something again. It was just what she was saying before, like somebody was messing with her. "Korosu?" She was shaking her head, clinging to me. "No...stop...just stop!" Her voice was quiet, but I could hear her enough. I held her shoulders, dead serious. "Tell me what's going on!" I felt scared of the answer, not knowing what was happening. Korosu hugged me once again, speaking softly. "T-they keep s-saying it... over a-and over..." her voice cracked and quivered, like when somebody's close to tears. "What are they saying?" I had absolutely no clue as to who "they" was, but I didn't care. All I cared about was her. "S-she fixed her f-family...they won't stop..." she fixed her family? What does that even mean? I pulled her closer, lightly stroking her hair. "Shh, it's okay. You're okay. I'm right here." Korosu began to calm down, her breaths evening out. She looked up at me, her eyes weren't as bright as before. "Thank you ash." I was a bit confused what she was talking about. "For what?" "For not leaving." I cupped her face, smiling softly. "I am here for you, and I will never leave you." Korosu smiled, her eyes brighter. "I love you so much Ashton." My hand was still on her cold cheek, my thumb rubbing her skin. I love her so much, so goddamn much. It's the hardest feeling in the world to explain, but I value our relationship more than anything in this universe.
