~Ashton~
Korosu and I had been dating for quite a while, and it had been getting close to a year. Surge would still argue with her from time to time, but eventually he dialed it down when he left her apartment with a bruised jaw and a good smack to the face. I would usually just hang out with Korosu at her apartment, the house, or she would come listen to band practices. Around July, she seemed to get pretty excited whenever I called. Every time I asked her why, Korosu replied with the same answer:
"It's wonderful to hear your voice. It just makes me happy to know that you care enough to call."
I love this girl to death, and nothing can change that. Even if she killed me, I'd still love her. I called her one morning just to say hi, and heard surge in the background. What is his deal? "Hold on a second okay?" "Okay." From what I heard, he most likely left with some kind of bruising and probably a busted lip. The door was slammed shut, and Korosu returned to the conversation. "So, wanna come over here today? I could meet you at the house and we can walk over to the apartment." I was smiling, ignoring Calum singing in the shower. "Sure!" "Okay! See you soon!" Her voice was soft and sweet, like honey. "Bye Korosu! I love you!" "I love you too ash! Bye!" She hung up, and I set my phone down. As Calum sang nickel back, I put on a cutoff and shorts. Walking outside, I saw Korosu heading down the road. Her hair was partially braided, and she was wearing a tank top and shorts. After closing the door, I made my way towards the road, smiling. She met me at the end of the driveway, and seemed pretty happy. She hugged me softly, clinging to my chest. I wrapped my arms around her neck, looking down at her. Korosu spoke in her sweet voice, looking at the ground behind me. "Hello ash! I love you!" I giggled a bit, rubbing her back. "Hello. I love you too!" We both walked back to her apartment, talking and laughing. Her hair was a bit messy, but that was the usual. After Korosu and I got to the apartment, I lay down on the couch and pulled her down with me. My arm was around her, and she had a hand on my chest, feeling my pulsing heart. Korosu sighed happily, and I felt my lips curl into a smile. "I love you my dear." "I love you too." She looked up at me, her lips glitching as she smiled. I put one hand behind her head, and kissed her softly. Korosu relaxed, and set her hands on my shoulders. Her lips were cold, along with the silver rings side by side on her lower lip. For the next few minutes, we were kissing each other on her couch. I broke away when my lungs were about to pop, and smiled down at her. Korosu giggled a bit, looking up at me with her bright eyes. "Did you want to do anything today?" She spoke softly, and I shook me head slowly. "Okay." Korosu rested her head on my chest, and I remembered what happened on this couch a while ago.
You do have a heart, and I will hear it beat.
Even if I have to wait forever, I will hear her heart beat. As I listened to her even breaths, thinking about the many things I've done with her, something came to mind.
Harry's soccer game.
I looked down at Korosu, and softly spoke. "Korosu? I know something we could do." She looked up at me, and smiled a bit. "Okay, what is it?" "Want to go see my brothers soccer game? He likes it when I come." Korosu sat up a bit, as did I. "Sure!" I giggled slightly, and stood up. "Alright." Extending my hand, she took it and got up. "When do we need to leave?" I looked at the clock on the wall, then back at Korosu. "Pretty soon." She nodded, and walked out of the room. Once she came back in, Korosu was wearing hazel contacts over her red eyes. "Don't want to scare your brother." She grabbed her phone and wallet, tucking them into her pockets. We left the apartment and walked down the road. Korosu held onto my hand, her cold skin glitching against mine. I giggled slightly, and we began talking about different things as usual. Eventually we got to the field, and I saw Harry kicking around a soccer ball. I can't wait for her to meet my family, I'm sure they'll love her.
~Korosu~
Noticing a boy in the soccer field ahead, I felt extremely nervous. They won't like me, I'm a psychotic, dead killer. If they don't find out, maybe I have a shot. Ashton and I headed for the field, and I saw him smiling. He called out to the boy, his voice cheerful and happy. "Harry!" Ash basically ran over to him, and I walked behind him. The boy looked over at him, ending up being hugged by ash. "It's been so long since I've last seen you." "Glad to see you ash!" I was smiling, noticing how happy they both were. Standing behind them, ash looked up at me, smiling. "Harry, this is Korosu. Korosu, this is my brother Harry." He waved up at me, and I waved back. "Hello!" I tried to keep my voice from glitching, hoping my skin wasn't doing the same. Butterflies filled my stomach as Ashton grabbed my hand. Just calm down. It'll be alright. {they are going to hate you. Everybody does. Surge is right, this guy is lying.} just stop for once, okay?! I heard somebody call ash's name from the stands beside the field, as a woman with blonde hair walked over. Must be his mother. Ashton smiled, and kept my hand in his. The woman grinned cheerfully, then hugged him. Ash let go of my hand, hugging his mother. "Hi mom." "Hey ash. It's good to see you." I smiled once again, standing next to him. "Who might this be ash?" He looked over at me, giggling slightly. "This is Korosu, she's my girlfriend." His mother seemed to get excited as he said "girlfriend" and basically ran over to me. "Hello miss Irwin." I grinned, as did she. "Hi! So you're dating Ashton?" I nodded slightly, hoping my skin wasn't glitching. His mother was happy, then noticed my hair. She didn't seem to care, and went on. "He's a very lucky man to have a girl like you." I felt a red tint spread across my cheeks, and I spoke softly. "Thank you ma'am." Ashton wrapped his arm around me, and spoke with pep in his sweet voice. "Where is Lauren?" She motioned over to a girl sitting in the bleachers, and ash smiled. He led me towards the girl, hugging her once she noticed him. "Good to see you. Lauren, Korosu. Korosu, Lauren." I waved slightly, looking down at the girl. His family is just amazing. Ash walked down the bleachers and back onto the field, as I followed close behind. We both ended up kicking the soccer ball around, at least until the other players started showing up. Ash and I sat down with his mother and sister, and he kept his arm around me. "Want anything?" I shook my head, smiling up at him. "I'm good ash, thanks for asking though." "You sure?" He stood up, looking down at me. "I'm sure." Ash walked off, and I looked down at the metal flooring. I think I'm good so far, his family doesn't seem frightened of me yet. He came back with his own things, sitting next to me. Ash wrapped his arm around my shoulders, then the game began. I watched as his brother kicked the ball into the net, admiring his skill. "Your brother's pretty good." "Yeah, he's been kicking around a ball since he could walk. I've helped him out a bit." I nodded, smiling. "You did pretty well." Ash smiled at me, then stood up with everyone else as the team scored. The game went pretty well, and his brothers team ended up winning. I went with ash to congratulate Harry, noticing his team leaving with their parents. We walked over to him, as his smiling face came into view. "You did great Harry!" Ash was pretty excited,  and his brother looked up at him. "You really did amazing!" I spoke in a medium voice, focusing on not glitching. "Thanks you guys!" His mother and sister came over, congratulating Harry. I was smiling, watching his family. They were all so happy together, smiling and hugging. From what I had seen, his family didn't argue or scold each other for speaking. Ash gazed down at me, wrapping his arm around my waist. "Want to come with us back to our house to celebrate?" Smiling, I nodded slowly. "Sure." Ash grinned, and led me over to a van. His family got in, ash climbing into the back. I ended up sitting on his lap, his arms around my waist. I felt nervous, anxiety filling me once again. His family was kind and accepting, yet I was afraid they would push me away if they knew the real me.
