~Calum's POV~
I was just on the phone when he came back.
Yet the conversation wasn't that casual.

"Calum, you were just being an insensitive jerk, get over it."
"Bianca, I never meant to offend you, I wasn't trying to be rude."
"Well you were. Bye Calum. Please don't call me." She hung up before I could speak again.
I sighed, setting the phone back down on the table, leaning back. I didn't mean to bring it up.
I just asked.

The door swung open, ash stumbling in. I stood up, worried he was hurt.
"Ash? Is everything okay?" I watched as he made his way to the couch, falling onto it. He nodded slowly, dazed.
Goddamnit. He's drunk.
"Ash? Did you drink tonight?"
He nodded once again.
Last time this happened he ended up on the street, cut up from broken glass. I'm going to keep him from doing it again.
"Hey ash, let's get you upstairs, alright?"
He giggled. "Alrighty." I helped him stand back up, considering he couldn't even walk straight, not to mention up stairs.
Once he was in his room, I sat beside him on the bed. "So, did everything go okay today?"
He nodded, looking down.
Somethings going on with Yasmin.
"Why don't you get some rest and we'll talk about this tomorrow?"
He got in bed, falling asleep quickly.
I walked out, sighing.
Don't tell me something extremely bad happened tonight.
I went towards Eric and Marilyn's room, seeing if they were okay.
Marilyn was sleeping while Eric was laying in bed. I sat next to him, speaking in a soft voice. "You okay buddy?"
He nodded, hugging me. "Where's mommy?"
"She's...working bud. You'll see her soon. For now you need to get some rest."
I just felt his grip tighten. "I can't sleep." He positioned himself on my lap, laying against my chest.
"Will it make you feel better if I stay?"
He nodded again.
I laid back down with him on my chest, rubbing his shoulder. My thoughts went from here to there, everything clustering together.
Ash was drunk, Korosu was in a hospital, he's seen his mom in a car wreck and his dad away on a tour for a year.
This kids been though a lot but he's pushing through.
I'm pretty damn proud of him.
After a minute, I noticed he fell asleep on me.
Carefully setting him in bed, I tucked him in and quietly left the room.
I laid back in bed, trying to think of what our lives had come to.
A few years ago, ash didn't know what to do about his love life.
I was fine where I was.
Luke and Mike were still affected by one person coming into our lives.
She made ash happy.
I met Bianca because of her.
Some crazy stuff has happened.
But I'm worried about what might happen if she's not around anymore. Especially about what ash might do.

~Ashton~
The next morning, I got up after a while, my head hurting terribly.
Since I actually needed to get out of bed, I went downstairs to find cal sitting on the couch.
"Well good morning sunshine." He chuckled, smiling.
"Shut up." I mumbled, sitting down next to him.
A few minutes later, Eric came downstairs as well. I wasn't particularly thinking straight, so most of what he said was mixed up in my mind. We were pretty much talking about going to see Yasmin later.

I heard my phone ringing, forgetting I left it on the table last night. The number wasn't available, yet I answered anyways.
"Hello?"
"Hey ash, it's surge. Listen, if you're going to  see Korosu today that's fine. Just don't bring your kids with you."
"Is everything okay? Why?"
"I don't want them being scared, I know Eric's seen her a little banged up before yet it wasn't this bad. Just trust me okay?"
I nodded. "Okay, alright. Thanks."
"Bye."
I set my phone down, leaning back. It couldn't be that bad.
Right?

Later that day, I drove back over to surge's house.
The windows were still boarded up, yet most of the place was torn up.
Just like before.
I knocked softly, standing outside for a minute before I heard his voice.
"Who the hell is it?"
"Ashton."
A minute later, he opened the door. "Hey. Come on it. Let's talk for a minute."
Once I stepped in and we sat in the main room, he began a conversation.
"Look, I'm sorry about what I said yesterday first of all. It wasn't okay to just blame you. I wasn't thinking straight. Second of all, you've made her happy so far in her life, please keep doing it. She needs it."
I nodded, looking down. "Can I see her now?"
"About that, I left the cover off of her legs so I could take off the bloody gauze, so you'll be able to see what all happened. You're really not gonna like it. I covered up her wounds for the most part but...don't freak out. She's still having seizures, so please don't cause any stress for her."
I nodded once again. He led me back into the room, slowly opening the door.
It was different this time.
Her body was still bruised, but her lower body was a different story.
While her left leg was bandaged, her right leg was in a full cast. The shorts she had on were over the casts, while there were various injections in her sides.
"The bone in her right leg was partially shattered. I tried everything to help it. Her other leg is only messed up in the muscles. She has some parts on both legs where the skin broke apart and the muscle is torn."
I nodded, standing next to the bed. Every breath she took was shaky, chest rising and falling in an uneven pattern.
After a while, she finally woke up, smiling up at me. "H-ey as-hto-n." Her voice was still broken up and scratchy, but beautiful.
"Hey baby. I love you." I kissed her head softly, smiling.
"I lo-ve y-ou." She slowly took my hand, smiling a bit.
"Do you feel alright baby?" I spoke quietly, making sure to stay calm.
She shrugged, grasping my hand.
"I'm sorry. I love you okay?"
"I lo-ve yo-u so m-uch" she smiled up at me.
Surge had left the room by that point, leaving us alone in the room.

A few minutes later, the steady rate on the monitor started speeding up.
"Surge!" I yelled, looking down at Yasmin. "Stay awake okay? Please." I held onto her hand, watching as surge ran in. "Whatever you do, don't let her fall asleep."
"Baby, please, stay with me okay? Just look up at me. It's okay, I promise." I stayed right beside her, pleading for her to stay up.
She smiled, closing her eyes.
"Korosu!" Surge yelled, grabbing a needle like before. He jabbed it into her chest, injecting the liquid. The rate stabilized, her breathing going back to normal. Well, at least as normal as it would get.
He sighed, gripping the side of the table. "I hate having to tell you this.
She wants to let go."
I nodded, my voice cracking. "I hate having to say I know."

Later that day, surge and I were outside the room, talking a bit.
"Hey ash...um...I've got to tell you about something..."
I nodded, raising an eyebrow.

"I've known about this, and I've tried stopping her from all this, but I should have told you."

I looked down, not sure what to say.
He knew.
Just like I did.
But neither of us thought it was a problem.
God were we wrong.

She stayed unconscious for a while, until I saw her sitting up.
I walked back in, carefully setting my hand on her back. "Yasmin, lay down. It's okay, relax."
She winced beneath my touch yet laid down.
"A-re Er-ic an-d mar-il-yn o-ka-y?" She choked out.
I nodded, moving my hand. "They're fine."
I'm glad surge told me not to take them with me.
They would be as upset as I am inside right now.

~Korosu~
I'm such a goddamn idiot.
Ash should be at home with our amazing children.
Not sitting here with me.
I'm such an idiot.
It should have worked.

Slender stood in the corner, staring at me like before.
I started coughing a bit, not as violent as before.
"You should have listened Korosu. You have to kill somebody you love. Now."
"I'm not killing my family!" I yelled, doubling over.
"My darling, you could kill Sasha. She would work fine. She is not family-"
"Yes she is you fucking idiot! All of them are. They matter. I would never kill them!"
"Do not use that tone with me. What about Kevin? He wants to die anyways. Why not do it for him?"
"Because I care about them! I made that kid who he is! He's just a kid!"
"Child, do it. Or I will make you."
"Don't you fucking dare." I snapped, falling back into the bed. My head was buzzing, hurting terribly.
"I will. Choose wisely."

I shot awake, eyes widening. I looked around, seeing it was pitch black outside. I sighed, feeling bile rise up my throat.
I leaned over, throwing up into the bin beside the table.
I could tell it was blood, yet I just fell back. Surge walked in after a minute.
"Hey. Feel okay?"
"Yea-" I managed to say before I noticed it.
Mary was standing in the corner of the room.
"No..." I mumbled, backing up.
"Oh sweetie, what did I tell you about disobeying? That won't work now will it?"
"No...you're not real..."
She got closer, holding the cleaver.
"You're not real!" I choked out, holding my head.
She just got closer.
"You're not real! You're not fucking real!"
"Korosu..." She said, closing in on me.
"No...no!"
"Korosu.." The voice faded into surge's.
"Korosu! Korosu! Snap out of it!" He was gripping my shoulders, looking straight into my eyes.
I looked back at him, trying to see if he was real.
"Just calm down. Ashton left to see your kids. Are you okay?"
I nodded, my arm jerking slightly.
"Korosu?"
I glanced down, my leg doing the same thing.
"Korosu...?"
I fell back, my hand twitching.
