Aeron let out a slow breath, finally allowing some of the tension in his shoulders to ease now that Starfania was awake. He rubbed the back of his neck before speaking, though the exhaustion in his eyes made it clear the past week had not been easy on him either.
" You had all of us worried, Star," he admitted quietly. " You and Atlas were unconscious for nearly a week. Atlas would wake up now and then, but only for a few minutes before passing out again."
Starfania blinked several times, trying to fully process his words. A week. The realization settled heavily in her chest.
Whatever power she and Atlas had called upon during the eclipse...it had drained them completely. Enough to leave not only her exhausted beyond belief, but a dragon as ancient and powerful as Atlas as well. That alone terrified her. The GreekCosmo's power was beautiful. Celestial. Limitless. But now she understood something equally important. It came at a cost. She lowered her gaze for a moment, her fingers lightly tightening around the blanket. Her body still felt heavy, every muscle aching faintly beneath the surface, as though the magic itself had burned through her bones and left only exhaustion behind. Yet despite all of that...they had survived.
She shifted slightly, careful not to wake Violet completely, and took a moment to truly take everything in. Sunlight spilled across the wooden floorboards in warm golden streaks while a gentle breeze stirred the curtains beside the bed. The room felt peaceful in a way she hadn't experienced in a long time. Safe.
" Have you three been here long?" she asked, her voice still rough from sleep. Lyam pushed himself off the wall, concern flickering behind his usually composed expression.
" Just long enough to worry about you," he replied, though his usual smirk softened into something more sincere. " You were talking in your sleep, too."
Starfania frowned faintly before realization crossed her face.
" Oh...that." She let out a small, breathy laugh. " I was talking to Cantina. You know how she is. Apparently she enjoys dragging me into that strange void whenever she feels like it."
Her gaze drifted toward the desk nearby, where Cosmry rested in its dormant, pen-like form. Even now, the sapphire jewel embedded within it shimmered faintly beneath the sunlight.
" Except this time," she continued softly, " it felt different. I wasn't in the black room completely. It was like I was still here, too...looking at the desk, lying on the bed...somewhere in between."
Her expression grew thoughtful. " She told me more about the GreekCosmo...and the Dragon Savior before me. She said Cosmry was created by them."
Aeron exchanged a glance with Lyam.
" Another conversation with her?" Aeron muttered. " I swear, ever since you got that blade, it's like Cantina's been waiting for you specifically."
Starfania nodded slowly. Getting Cosmry had changed everything. That single moment had led her to Atlas...to Cantina...to the vision of the past...and now somehow to awakening the creator of the dragon itself. It was overwhelming when she actually stopped to think about it. So instead, she decided to joke.
" Well," she said with a tired grin, " that was probably the best sleep I've had in years."
Lyam snorted softly. " I bet it was. Do you want something to drink? You sound like you swallowed sand."
Carefully, she shifted Violet slightly so she could rest more comfortably against the pillows. Violet stirred faintly but didn't fully awake. Aeron moved closer instinctively, helping adjust the blanket around both of them.
" Take your time," he whispered. Starfania looked between the two boys standing beside her bed. They looked exhausted, too. Like neither of them had truly rested while she slept. Her chest tightened slightly at the thought.
" Thank you..." she whispered softly. " For staying."
Before either of them could answer, Violet suddenly stirred again. Her eyes fluttered open slowly, still hazy with sleep. For a second, she simply stared at Starfania in disbelief. Then her entire expression crumbled. " Starfania..."
The next thing Starfania knew, Violet had thrown her arms tightly around her. Tears immediately welled in the younger girl's eyes before spilling freely down her cheeks. Her shoulders shook with quiet sobs as all the fear she had been holding in finally came rushing out. Without hesitation, Starfania wrapped her arms around her protectively.

Violet clung to her tighter, as though terrified she might disappear again if she let go.
" I didn't know if you were going to wake up," Violet admitted shakily between quiet sobs. The words hit harder than Starfania expected. She pulled back just enough to look Violet in the eyes, her expression softening completely.
" I'm here now," she promised quietly. " I told you we'd come back."
Violet swallowed hard before nodding slowly, finally allowing herself to believe it.
