Violet danced gleefully around the arena, her laughter ringing through the air as Drogo chased after her with unrelenting enthusiasm. She quickened her pace, but he was faster. Within seconds, he was next to her, and the two of them tumbled to the ground, breathless and laughing uncontrollably. Their playfulness soon drew another participant–Atlas. Drogo collided with him, and he didn't hesitate to join in, his large wings stirring up a gentle breeze as he bounded through the open space. As Starfania, Aeron, and Lyam watched them having their fun. Not taking his eyes off of them. He said in his calm and collected voice. " Make sure you guys are ready for this mission, because this is the reason we fight for what we believe in. "

Aeron, exuding confidence, gave a small nod and reassuring smile. " We'll be ready? "

Then Lyam finally looked away from them, and straight into Starfania's midnight eyes, and said. " Are you ready, Dragon Savior? "

Starfania felt the weight of Lyam's gaze, steady. She took a deep breath, collecting her thoughts.

"I've faced storms before," she replied, her voice unwavering. "This is just another challenge to overcome."

With that, Lyam departed, leaving Aeron and Starfania alone, watching Violet and their dragons still playing around. A peaceful silence settled between them, a rare and precious moment to simply exist, unburdened by responsibility. Then, breaking the quiet, Aeron said softly. " So this is how it feels to be you. I'm afraid of hurting our home, VulcanFire. Even if they're the one causing Avalon all this pain in the first place. "

Starfania took a breath, steading her thoughts before speaking. " It's difficult. I'm basically fighting my father by doing this mission. By attacking our own home." Aeron nodded, understanding the weight of her words.

"Family ties can be so complicated," he replied, his gaze drifting to the shimmering horizon. The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm glow that softened the tension in the air. "Sometimes, it feels like we have to choose between loyalty and what's right."

Starfania watched as Violet chased after a fluttering butterfly, her laughter ringing like a bell.

"I never wanted to be at odds with my blood," she admitted. "But I feel like I have no other choice. If I don't fight back, who will protect those we care about?"

Aeron turned to her, his eyes steady.

"You're strong, Starfania. Stronger than you know. This could change everything for Avalon." He paused, taking a moment to reflect. "But it also means we carry the burden of that change."

With a sigh, Starfania leaned against a nearby tree, the bark rough against her skin. "It's hard to think about the future when the present is so chaotic. I want to protect my people, but not at the cost of who I am."

"Perhaps you can find a balance," Aeron suggested gently. "Maybe there's a way to harness that strength against the real enemy, without losing sight of your own heart."

Starfania smiled faintly at his optimism. "You always know how to ground me, even in stormy times. It gives me hope."

She looked back at the dragons, their playful spirits a reminder of innocence amidst turmoil. "I just hope we can find a way to bring harmony back to Avalon. For all of us."
