JACKIE WAS expecting a surge of panic, the familiar feeling she experienced whenever Vecna occupied her mind or put her into a trance. The panic never came, not this time. She was unsure where she was, it didn't look like she was in a memory, and it certainly didn't feel like she was possessed. As far as she could tell, Vecna wasn't anywhere near.

And then she was turning one of those gross pillar things and came to a full halt, seeing Eleven and Will before her. Upon meeting her gaze, Eleven exhaled.

"I did it," she said to Will, who was shaking. "She's here."

Jackie blinked, slowly. Either Vecna was giving her this weird ass vision, or Eleven had somehow summoned her.

"I have to confess," Jackie said, stepping closer to them. "I am very confused."

"Henry took control of Will again," Eleven explained to her. "Turned him into a spy."

"I gave away Max's location," Will rushed on. "They're after your sister. The demos. They're going to finish her off this time."

The fear plunged her then. Eleven regarded her carefully. "Whatever you guys are planning in the Upside Down, it must wait. If you can reach Max with these.. memories.. you need to tell her to hurry. Hurry and wake up."

"I don't know how to do that," Jackie could have sobbed. "I don't have any control over how I see the memories. I've never even seen Max in them. I don't even know how I'm here."

"Your tether to Henry," Eleven explained. "When he invaded your mind, he left a trace there. Until that tether is destroyed, I can remote travel to you, bring you into the void. This is still his mind- where he took Will. I brought you here as a warning. Find Max in those memories, and tell her to wake up. Otherwise it will be too late. I cannot find her, but you..."

"I've been in Vecna's brain," Jackie finished. "Okay. I just.. how exactly do I do that? Travel there myself?"

Eleven and Will shared a look. Then, Eleven was stepping forward, pulling a bandana out from Will's pocket and handing it to her. "Sit. Close your eyes, and focus."

Jackie glanced between them wearily, then fell cross-legged to the ground, tying the fabric around her eyes and closing them. She felt silly, she was half tempted to tell Eleven this wasn't possible for her, she didn't have powers, she was a normal, boring human who certainly couldn't do things like this.

But then the world fell silent, Jackie was absorbed into the darkness and for a moment, it felt like she was flying. Her only thought was Max. MaxMaxMax. Bring me to Max. And when she opened her eyes, she could've sworn she heard her baby sister's voice. When she turned, however, she instead saw that she was in the Creel house. Except this time it wasn't empty, it was bustling with children, laughing children, singing and dancing.
