We ran down the hall and through Oura till we hit the entrance. Still gasping for air I was thrown into the sky without warning. Sucking down the air, I opened my wings and began to gain control.
"Lilith!"
I turned and looked to Thor who flapped weakly beside me.
"Thor!" I barked looking around and realizing we were missing a body. "Where's Demetrius?"
He shook his head, looking back over his shoulder at Oura. Capital guards began to flood out of the place like an angry hornet's nest. If Demetrius was still in there, he was completely screwed.
"Thor, we have to go back there, Demetrius—"
"Miss me?"
I screamed, dropping a few feet to see Demetrius flying steadily beside me with a cocky grin. I swung out to hit him, but he easily dodged me and pointed towards the horizon that was beginning to burn into a dawning light.
"There's not much time—we have to warn Gwen and Raven."
"How will we find them," I yelled over the rushing wind.
Thor jerked his gaze down to the streets below us where people were beginning to roam, murmuring in panic. It looked as though the word to flee the town had already spread and people were actually listening.
"Look, down there," Thor pointed down to the streets where both Gwen and Raven were below with a bunch of panicked people.
The three of us landed on the ground, slipping through the crowd of people, careful not to get caught in the stampede.
"Raven!" Demetrius called over the heads of angels.
Her head whipped to our direction and she tapped Gwen on the shoulder, both of them walking over to us.
"Lilith, Demetrius, did you get what you needed?" Raven asked looking to Thor who blushed heavily.
I nodded, "Yes, and maybe a little more."
She frowned. "Huh?"
"Lucien's a traitor," Demetrius simplified. "He's an angel—he's been working for them all along."
Raven's face tightened as she looked to Gwen who quickly spoke up.
"We've got a bigger problem," she said.
Thor raised an eyebrow. "We've got enough problems on our hands at the moment."
Raven shot him a glare and he shut right up.
"We don't know where to send these people. They can't just fly out into the middle of nowhere. The demons will find them and take them down," Raven said.
I looked around at the people who were beginning to take off into the sky and sail to safety, wherever that may be.
"The mansion!" I blurted.
Everyone turned to me, looking confused, especially Gwen and Thor.
"What are you talking about?" they said in unison.
"There's a mansion, it's not too far from here, at least an hour's flight. Go there; you'll be safe along with these people."
The pair gazed at each other and back to me with lost expressions. "We have no idea where this place is."
Beside me, Demetrius growled impatiently. "Fly that way for an hour and you'll see a great big black mansion on a rocky mountain, can't miss it. You don't have time for directions and none of us can go with you, we have to stay here and fight back the Guardians and demons."
