Denise knew she had to apologise to Nick for what she had said. She didn't mean to, it was just overwhelming. She was overwhelmed with everything that has happened over the last forty eight hours. She was a Grandmother now but felt nothing like it. She wondered into the living room taking a seat next to Nick laying her hand on his leg kissing his cheek gently to show him that she was sorry.

"I'm sorry Nicholas, I shouldn't have said that, of course I love you because your my son. I'm just a little stressed and overwhelmed with everything that has happened," She begun laying a hand on Frankie's leg too. "I know Demi has been getting a lot of attention over the months making sure that her pregnancy went well but I promise you when all this blows over we'll do something with Kevin just the four of us."

"It will be okay mommy." Frankie stated Denise smiling kissing her five year old son's head gently as he leaned his head on her shoulder.

"I know it doesn't seem like it sometimes mom but I do love you, sometimes we just think that Joe has kind of taken you from us." Nick admits.

"Joe is a special boy, done a lot for his mother but you boys will always be my boys. I do care for Joe but I'll always be there for my children." Denise smiled as Nick laid his head on her shoulder too knowing that he had forgiven her for what she had said. She just prayed that Demi would be okay and that she wouldn't have to worry about her being a good mom to her newborn twins.

Demi was wondering the streets of her town holding her twins tight against her chest, they had calmed down a little bit since the train ride but had both cried themselves to sleep. She was given a couple spare diapers by the train staff and was able to breast feed them both but still she knew she couldn't do this and be a mother to her babies. She didn't even know their names. The names that their father had picked out for them and had written on the birth certificate. She felt her phone buzz in her pocket sighing knowing that it would be Joe again but this time it was text rather than a call. She stopped on a bench laying her son down on her lap keeping the girl in her arms able to get her phone out her pocket opening the text.

'Wherever you are taking them I hope it's safe and I know you didn't want to know their names but they are Chiron and Kaia. If you won't bring them home take them somewhere safe please.'

It was as if she could hear Joe's voice in her mind begging her to take them somewhere safe if she wasn't going to come home. She didn't reply but put her phone back in her pocket routing in the bag she had managed to sneak out of the hospital with the babies grabbing a pen and paper writing two words on the sheet. 'Chiron and Kaia' She ripped it in half burying their name tags in their bundles of blankets before she was off again. Demi reached a tall building after staring at it from a distance for a while. She made her way up a path taking in a deep breath when she saw the huge door in front of her. She very carefully laid the babies down on the ground making sure they were together, it was then they started whimpering again not being close to either of their parents. She rung the door bell heading off towards the bushes where she hid out of view. It didn't take long for the door to open seeing a middle-aged man stood there looking around until he heard the whimpering. His eyes wondered downwards a shocked expression coming across his face but he lifted them up in his arms shutting the door. Demi took in a deep breath before strolling through the gates. She couldn't let anyone be with her babies other than strangers. She couldn't separate them either, whether she admitted it or not she cared about them but not enough to be a mother to them.

She took everything away from her family and Joe, the babies she had carried around for nine months. She had taken them to a care home where they couldn't find them.
