While Joe and Paul were having their walk Demi decided it would be a good idea to get to know her real mother a bit more. She hadn't spent a lot of time with her unlike Joe and Denise, there wasn't really a reason for it but she wanted to know her real mother some more. She helped her into her room and down onto her desk chair after she told her it would be more comfortable for her with a cushion behind her back. Demi sat on the edge of her bed looking over at her mother.

"What do you know about my real father?" Demi inquired Dianna sighing.

"Not a lot, we weren't together very long before I fell pregnant. I think I only knew him for about two years and a half. His name was Patrick and he was a good man, he was looking forward to being a father but I think he secretly wanted a little girl and when he found out we had Joe he was a little disappointed. He tried his best to be a father to Joe but gave up when he was two and left us both." Dianna explained as Demi looked towards the ground.

"But he did have a little girl, do you think he would have stayed if you got me rather than the hospital mixing up?" Demi questioned.

"I honestly don't know, possibly." Demi sighed, she wished she could know her real father but she couldn't, if she could find a way to contact him she would. She thought he deserved to know the mix up that had happened when she was born. So he could know that he actually did have a daughter rather than a son, she wanted answers too.

"Do you want me to do your nails? I could do that?" Demi suggested changing the subject, she didn't want the first time she spent time with her mother to be depressing, she wanted to have a good time and not dwell on something that they couldn't change.

"That sounds good." Dianna admitted Demi smiling as she got up from the bed making her way over to the drawers getting out the nail polish she owned then making her way back over. She grabbed another chair setting it in the right position.

"What colour?" Demi inquired.

"Whatever colour you think is best." Dianna answered Demi smiling again as she picked a navy blue colour. They continued to talk as they got to know each other a little more. Demi hoped Joe was having as much fun with Paul as she was with Dianna.

It was later on that night when Joe and Demi were spending some time alone to themselves after everything that had happened over the last couple of days. They hoped now that they could rest, Joe wanting Demi to rest for the sake of their baby, it was still a crucial time in the pregnancy. The twins were in bed so they were relaxing while watching a film.

"My dad isn't so bad is he?" Demi teased as she lifted her legs up over his smiling as he rubbed them gently with his hands.

"Nah, I knew he was a softie all along." Joe lied making her laugh.

"I'm glad we're not letting this thing ruin our relationship." Demi admitted.

"Me too, I love you." Joe admitted himself not paying attention to the screen anymore but towards Demi who was looking right back him.

"You do?" Demi questioned Joe nodding his head gently a nervous smile on his face.

"Yeah I do." He spoke in a slight whisper.

"I-I love you too." Demi replied a smile on her face too as they leaned over sharing a kiss before pulling away Joe laying his hands down on her growing bump. She knew she wouldn't be as big this time with there only being one baby.

"And our little one." Joe lifted her shirt up planting a kiss on her flat stomach Demi's smile only getting wider as she tangled her fingers in his hair.

"I'm guessing it's a boy." Demi stated.

"I don't care, as long as he or she is as great as Cai and Kaia." Joe replied kissing her again.
