Joe made it back to the apartment not long after breakfast opening is door, he couldn't help but he nervous about what Beth would have to say, she had promised that he would lose them and he prayed that she would keep that promise. He had worked hard over the last year or two to find them and now he had he didn't want to lose them. He set the two of them up doing crafts while he did a little bit of house work, he didn't have as much time these days to keep on top with it with having two three year olds running around but he made sure that they tidied away after themselves. He was half way through cleaning the bathroom when there was a knock at the door. He exited the bathroom closing the door behind him warning Cai and Kaia not to go in, it was unsafe with the chemicals that he had laying around. He opened the door revealing Beth in her usual business suit, he gave her a warm smile letting her in not able to read her expression.

"Did you see anything that showed Mollie harmed them?" She inquired Joe shaking his head gently, he had bathed them when he got home because they were sticky after breakfast and hadn't noticed any marks or anything. "The authorities are worried that you won't be able to cope with both of them by yourself." Joe begun panicking but she laid her hand on his arm.

"I can't lose them and I'm not splitting them up!" Joe exclaimed.

"I know but it won't come to this alright? They are giving you another week to see if you will be able to cope with everything but after that there's no second chances." Joe sighed nodding his head gently running his fingers through his hair.

"Okay thanks." He mumbled.

"Alright I have to go but I'll come by in a couple of days to see how things are, if you have any problems call me." Joe nodded his head again seeing her out before sitting down at the dining room table with Cai and Kaia.

"Do you like living with daddy?" Joe inquired curious.

"Yeah! Me didn't like Mollie much, don't leave us again." Kaia exclaimed Joe laughing nodding his head gently. He just hoped he could prove to everyone that he could cope with them, he just needed to find a baby sitter for tonight.

Demi was getting herself ready to meet up with Joe, she knew it was going to be hard for her to request to see the twins after everything she had put them all through but he hoped that she would understand and let her just see them a couple of times in the week. Maybe she could be a real mother to them one day.

"I'm proud of you Demi, I know you've been through a lot with the children but I don't think Joe had held a grudge against you so I think it's looking positive." Denise praised as she ran her fingers through her daughter's hair making Demi smile. She still liked to spend time with her mother even though she's nearly twenty one, she still spent a lot of time with her father as well when he wasn't working. She hadn't really gotten much closer to her brothers though.

"I hope so, I wouldn't blame him if he wouldn't though. I did take him away from his own children when it was clear he wanted to be around." Demi mumbled.

"That's all in the past now and I think he knows it, this is now and you need to prove to him that you want to be there for them all them. Everything will be fine." Denise kissed her daughter on the cheek gently straightening her dress out.

"Why does it feel like you're getting me ready for a date?" Demi grinned making Denise smiled pulling a bit of hair behind her ear.

"You and Joe were cute the time you were together," Denise laughed as Demi blushed slightly pushing her mother away from her. "Have fun okay and I'll keep you some dinner warm if your late back." Demi bided goodbye to her mother before she left the house ready to meet Joe and talk about possibly being a mother to her babies.
