Episode 52

Joe collapsed down on the bed next to Demi pulling her up into his arms as they both got their breaths back. Demi smiled laying her head down on his chest liking the feeling of his strong arms wrapped around her. They were both silent for a while but Joe had noticed the birth mark around Demi's neck that Denise was talking about when they were waiting for Cai and Kaia to make their appearance at the hospital three years ago.

"You do have a birth mark and maybe some love bites." Joe laughed as Demi slapped him on the chest knowing that 'maybe' meant she did

"Joe! I have work on Monday!" Demi exclaimed pulling his chest hairs making him squeal, Demi giggled shaking her head gently. "My mom wasn't lying you know."

"Well I never noticed it before, it's not the clearest mark in the world. Anyway I was the one born with the cord wrapped around my neck!"

"I don't know why I have it, I just do." Demi shrugged her shoulders laying her head back down on his chest able to hear the heating of his hart as he slowly calmed down. She felt her eyes droop finding it hard to fight it any longer.

"Go to sleep." He whispered in her ear, she didn't fight it any longer falling asleep against him. Joe smiled kissing her head gently laying his head down on the pillow falling asleep too.

Demi woke up first the next morning smiling when she saw Joe still sleeping next to her. They weren't cuddled anymore having moved in their sleep which made it easier for Demi to get out of bed able to leave Joe to sleep in for a bit. She cleaned up a bit, putting her clothes on and throwing Joe's in the dirty hamper making sure the condom was disposed of where the twins couldn't find it. She looked in the mirror shaking her head when she saw the love bites Joe had given her the night before. She left a note for Joe telling him that she had gone home to freshen up but would be back only when she came back she found that he was still in bed.

"Mommy?" She heard a voice as she crumpled the note in her hand. She turned around seeing Kaia in the doorway, she wondered over ushering her out of the room.

"Is Cai awake?" Demi inquired Kaia shaking her head. "Let's leave the boys to sleep and we'll have some breakfast."

"Pancakes?" She questioned Demi smiling nodding her head setting the TV up for her while she wondered into the kitchen finding everything she would need to make her daughter some pancakes. She made more batter so Joe and Cai could have some when they woke up.

"Morning," She heard after she had cooked Kaia some pancakes now doing her own. She smiled looking up seeing Joe in the fridge pouring himself a glass of orange juice taking a drink before setting it down on the counter."Cai is awake if you wanna make him some."

"Will do," Demi spoke but squealed when she felt him smack her butt a smirk on his face. "Joseph!" She turned around slapping his chest.

"What? I can't smack my beautiful girlfriend's butt?" Joe grinned.

"I'm your girlfriend now?" Demi grinned back smiling as he wrapped his arms around her waist his front pressing against her back as she flipped the pancake so it wouldn't burn.

"I'm not one to fuck and have nothing attached." He whispered in her ear making her giggle leaning back against him.

"Even after everything that's happened between us?" Demi questioned on a more serious note Joe nodding his head gently even though she couldn't see.

"I'm over it Demi, it was years ago now and after all the time we have spent together I know you've changed. Back to the Demi I dated when we were teenagers." Demi smiled laying her hands on his as he continued to embrace her.
