A month had passed.

In this middle time a few things had changed. First of all: Anna and Evan were now best friends. He had actually texted her that day, and texts turned out to phone calls and they also seeing each other every day that was possible.

"Hey it's me. I told you I would text you"

"I think it was guilty. But since you're there let's talk"

"You're impossible..."

So they started a conversation about their lives, what they were as children, what were their strangest secret, and all kinds of random things. Until Anna had call him Emmet.

"Goodbye Em, I'm exhaust. Can we do something tomorrow?"

"Think you send this to the wrong person..."

"Why are you saying this? If you don't want to go out with me just say no."

"You call me Em"

"It's a short name for Emmet! I'm sorry, didn't knew about you hating nicknames"

They were texting to each other for three days now, and Evan was feeling quite injurious when he realized that she didn't even knew his name.

"Yeah... Just like Anna is for Annabelle? I can see why you rather this since that creepy doll movie"

"WTH? Lol. It's just Anna, have you been drinking?"

"Oh... sorry. Nice to meet you Anna, I'm Evan."

The girl was so embarrassed at the moment that took minutes to reply. She had spent all the past few days trying to remember his name since Barbra was basically living at the library, and so she was happy when thought about Emmet. Obviously it wasn't the case.

But passed this episode they both had become real close friends. Barbra was upset about it, not because she was jealous; Evan still was in touch with her as well. But she was expecting to mess with her sister not getting her a BFF. She knew that Anna was still seeing Ryan, but wasn't sure about how it was working. Her sister never gave a straight answer when questioned about it.

But then, her opportunity to shake things a little bit came after two weeks. And now, a month late, it was show time.

– Mom, dad... I want to know if it's possible for me to bring someone to dinner today.

– Hmm... Sure, who?

– Someone you already met, but today it's going to be introduced as my... Boyfriend.

Harold and Jenna were surprised. The woman was so happy that she started asking a lot of questions to her daughter, who just said:

– You will see. But please, it's very important to me. I need you to support me...

– What are you talking about sweetheart? Of course we'll support you.

The girl made her best doubt face, and said

– But I'm afraid you'll judge me. I just hate things to be this way, but we can choose these things, right?

They were now scared. Barbra was going outside, there was 1 hour left to dinner. Anna was almost home when her phone started ring:

– What you're up to today?

It was Evan.

– Nothing really, I'm so tired. Can I call you later?

– Yeah...

Barbra was leaving and Anna had just met her at the door, she was coming from college.
