Chapter Fifty-Five
Payton’s POV
I stand up stroke the side of my sister’s face. “I better be heading out,” I say softly and Lila smiles up at me.
“I really like Reece. He is really nice and pretty,” Lila says as she musters up a smile.
“I do too Payton. He is a good kid,” my mom says from where she sits on the couch.
Blood rushes to my cheeks as they flush. “He is. I am glad you guys like him,” I mumble with a little smile.
“We’ll see you later,” my mom says as she gives me a soft smile.
“Alright I love you guys,” I tell them and lean down pressing my lips against her Lila’s forehead.
They reply with I love you’s and I leave making my way to the car and then to the Collins so that I can see my amazing boyfriend. As I pull up I see a car I do not recognize but I mean it could be anyone. I throw the car into park and climb out slipping my keys into my pocket. I sigh looking up at the large home and head up the bath to the front door.
I reach out and knock on it waiting for an answer. The large door swings open revealing the always beautiful Georgia sporting a light blue know length dress.
“Oh Payton!” Georgia exclaims tossing her arms around my shoulder hugging me.
“Hey,” I smile as I hug her back and she pulls away with a almost sad like face.
“Reece is out back with a friend,” Georgia tells me kindly and I smile.
“Thanks,” I nod my head and she nods while I walk through the house and open the back door expecting to see Reece and Jace but who is with him is someone I was never expecting and I can’t believe my eyes.
Reece’s POV
ONE HOUR AGO
As I reach my room my mind is haunted with all of these nightmarish thoughts. “Call Clair,” I instruct my phone as I sit onto my bed.
